This week I am saying So What If….

~I still can’t remember my debit card PIN number.
~I do not want to participate in the ice bucket challenge. I don’t even have any ice and I am not fun like that. #illjustdonate
~I find the amount of VS Pink! clothing for sale on my local Facebook swap / sell groups to be shocking. I had no idea it was that popular. No idea.
~We aren’t having a fun weekend getaway like I wanted too. It’ll happen. Eventually…
~I am obsessed with the friendship between J. Lo and Leah Remini. I want to hang out with them.
~I am super excited for the Emmy’s.
~I hid from the new mailman yesterday because I had so many packages and I know he thinks I am a nut.
~I laughed when I found WB hiding under my bed giggling when he was supposed to be in going to sleep in HIS bed.
~I am super excited to find out who L’s teacher is this year!
~I had these purple marks on my arm, googled what they could be and determined that I had one of half dozen super scary diseases. Turns out it was just a weird, probably garage sale induced, bruise because it’s going away.
~I have once again realized how difficult it is to get 10,000 steps on my fitbit.  But starting yesterday it WILL happen every day.

I have gotten 10,000 steps on my Fitbit every day this year. My health insurance company gives us points for it. I’ve gotten over $200 in Amazon gift cards with the points. (You can also register your Fitbit with the Walgreens website and get points towards purchases at Walgreens.)

But, that being said…I have a large dog and I walk her 2-3 miles a day, I park at the farthest corner of the parking lot at work and walk to the building, and I am doing Focus T25 (the different workouts have been good for from 1500-5000 steps). And sometimes I am on my treadmill at 11 PM to make up the remaining steps. But I’m stubborn like that. It’s definitely not easy.

I should check into out health insurance but I don’t think they do it.

M and N did the challenge and we are going to donate. I am done. #Sonotdumpingiceonmyhead
Just this morning realized that my friends church does a consignment sale in Sept so I’m going to try and tag for that. Hopefully get a good amount gone and will have a more manageable pile to work with. I still have big toys too so I know those will go. This revelation has gotten me so excited LOL #itsthelittlethings
10000 steps is just not happening for me right now. Even the days we go on walks I’m barely making it. Once C starts back to preschool I’m hoping to get some elliptical time in and that will help hopefully.

      Yay!! Clean it out!

Today is almost half over and I am so not even close to 10,000 steps. I need to get moving.

You shouldn’t feel bad. The people raising money for ALS prefer donations! I read an article last night about how the ice challenge was supposed to be what you have to do if you choose not to donate. They enjoy the people who do both, but the important thing is earning money.

    1. Jennifer

I do enjoy watching other peoples videos. LOL! I think a lot of people do both which is cool.

I’m obsessed with watching the celebrity ice bucket challenges but there is no way I’m doing that myself!

My 6 year-old SO wants to do it. He can take my turn…

I got my Jawbone Up the day I went on vacation and walked about 20,000 steps every day for a week! Seriously, my Up loved me. Then I got home and started back at work and I’m lucky if I get 3,000 steps a day. My Up is not happy with me now.

    1. Jennifer

I think we did in Disney when we went as well! It’s so much easier to get steps on vacation than in with life.

I think it can be hard to fit in the 10,000 steps when there are little ones at home. It’ll come. I should wear the pedometer again since I don’t have the Fitbit. I’m sure I am not hitting the 10,000 steps since I haven’t felt the best the majority of the summer. My husband can’t remember his PIN number either. He never uses it.

I was embarrassed today because I received 6 boxes. I never received that many at one time. Amazon, GoodeBox summer clearance, LootCrate, NerdBlock, Barkbox, and Dottie mini. Amazon has been sending more packages through USPS lately.

I guess My So What will be that Loot Crate arrived on time, NerdBlock arrived early; but no Nerd Block Jr. Somehow I don’t think my 5 year old is going to see it as So What. Strange since both NerdBlocks were to arrive on Sat. At least LootCrate has TMNT which should appease the 5 year old.

My Nerd Block Jr. came today! I am still waiting on Loot Crate though.

I’m totally obsessed with the friendship/possible romance between Mindy Kaling and BJ Novak. When they tweet/Insta each other I get all excited and when one of them is having some big event and the other isn’t there I go check their account to see where the hell they were! So silly.

And off topic but I totally blame you for my addiction to Bachelor in Paradise. I had no intention of watching until you mentioned it and now I’m stuck. What the hell is wrong with these people? I can’t believe Crazy Clingy Chick took off with Douchnozzel this week! And AshLee (<– that spelling makes me want to punch her) is like Fatal Attraction level nuts. Insane.

    1. Jennifer

Seriously what is wrong with those people on that show! They are all so crazy. And I can’t stop watching.

  8. PA Anna

Not fair! 🙂 I hope our packages will arrive tomorrow. My 15 year old loves this month Loot Crate.

    1. Jennifer

My Loot Crate never arrived today! It must like riding around with the mailman too!

      1. PA Anna

Oh no 🙁 Nerd Block Jr arrived today so all is well in my household.

  9. Katrina

I feel you on the Fitbit struggle. I went for a 3 mile run yesterday and STILL managed not to hit 10k.
I’m destined to be at the bottom of the leaderboards forever!

    1. Jennifer

You have to get like 5 miles in or you don’t get to 10,000 steps. So crazy!
