My Boys. This summer has been busy and fun and we’re loving it! I think it’s probably good that L has been back and forth up-north because it will be easier for WB when he goes back to school! Â Watching these two crazy boys interact and play is so entertaining!

Goldfish Swim School. Â L takes swim lessons at Goldfish and I can’t say enough good things about this place. Â I absolutely love it and so does he. Â Every single teacher he has had has been amazing and friendly and he is learning a ton. Â It’s totally expensive, but totally worth it. Â If you have one near you, try it!

The Treat Receipt.  This is the best thing that has ever happened to Starbucks. Well, sort of.  Go to Starbucks in the morning and your receipt will have a coupon for a $2 cold drink for that afternoon.  What could be better?  Well, other than a Starbucks truck (think like the ice-cream man but with Starbucks) which I am still dreaming of.

The Mermaid Trend. Â Actually I am not sure if this is even a trend? I just like it. Â I loved the Birchbox Limited Edition Modern Mermaid Box, I bought the Erin Condren “scales” planner cover and now I am obsessed with these sheets. Â They are way too expensive to actually buy so hopefully I can find a suitable (cheap) substitute somewhere. Â OH, and also, is there a place where I can just buy King fitted sheets? Â Cool ones, but just plain solid colors. Â We never used the flat sheet and while I have these grand ideas about turing the sheets into something amazing that just hasn’t happened. Â And probably won’t be happening.

Social Media.  I know not everyone is a fan, but I love it.  I can’t go cheer on my college roommate’s husband while he competes in Ironman’s around the country, but I certainly can cheer him on online.  And I get to see everyone’s baby pictures, kid updates, job updates and travels and follow along with out of town friends.  I think it’s great!

Planner Stickers. Â I have a strange news obsession with stickers for my Erin Condren planner. Â It used to be washi tape and now it’s stickers. Â The ones above are from The Container Store and are just another reason I need to make a trip there! Â Sure I could order them online, but wouldn’t it be more reasonable to GO to Chicago and get the $7.99 stickers? Â I could save on shipping!!!! Â I’m only kidding, but I really really want a Container Store in Michigan. And an In-N-Out Burger.

Ok now you have to tell me why don’t you use a flat sheet? What do you have on top of you in bed? Even down here I use a fitted and then a flat and in the colder months a blanket and comforter. ok I use a blanket and comforter most of the year since I keep the upstairs so cool but that is just me 😉
Ha. I never have. Just the duvet! I always get it all twisted up if I use a flat sheet.
My son starts his swim lessons tonight at the Goldfish School in Macomb. I am really excited. I was kind of scared of the price but the staff was just so friendly and it looked like Jack would be happy there. =]
So expensive, but SO worth it!! He’s going to love it! And they get a prize at the end of every class which is so cute.

You should be able to buy just the fitted sheet anywhere. I have a queen and I’ve gotten my fitted sheets from target, Kohls, bed bath and beyond. I don’t use a flat sheet either. Although keep your eye on prices because I found sometimes it’s cheaper to buy the sheet set even though I don’t use the flat sheet than it is to buy an individual sheet and pillowcases.
Oh I guess I didn’t even think it would be cheaper just to buy the entire set! I will make sure to check!
How big is the sticker book? I live near Container Store in NYC and would be happy to pick up and mail to you–I assume shipping in a flat envelope would be way less than $7. Can’t promise I can go tomorrow but sometime in the next few weeks. Let me know if interested!

For bedding I always go to Marshall’s, they sell just the fitted sheet for just a few bucks a lot of the time. And mine at least has every size and some fun patterns. I’m also loving the mermaid trend, I saw turquoise nails with gold scales painted on the other day in Instagram and now I so want to do that to my nails.

Oooh I love those sheets! Have you checked Target for just fitted sheets?! Or even a place like JcPenny? I know Walmart usually sells single sheets … but they are cheap and horrible quality. : / And how cute is WB in that muscle shirt!!
