Today I’m smiling because:
~It’s my mom’s birthday! Happy Birthday Nana!!
~We had a great first week back to school. No problems with waking up on time, going to bed early, nothing. Just smooth sailing.
~The Michigan State game is on tonight! #gogreen #nervous
~I found a 3-pack of Cake Batter Chapstick at Target yesterday. I love that stuff and at $1/tube you can’t beat it.
~B and I watched the dumbest movie last night (“They Came Together”) and even though neither of us really liked it, it was nice to just sit down and relax.
~The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon made me smile this week. First him and Adam Levine with those musical impressions and then with Meghan Trainor and The Roots and the classroom instruments singing “All About That Bass”? I loved it. I loved it all.
~Thanks to some crazy storms last night (which luckily my neighborhood mostly escaped), the weather here has cooled down nicely.
~I picked up two new books and cannot wait to start reading.
