Although we didn’t get mail today, the FedEx Man did arrive with a few boxes including my November 2014 Rockettes Fancy Box!
Just in case you aren’t familiar, Fancy, which is $39/month (plus shipping), has a “regular” Fancy Box full of cool goodies and also celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by The Rockettes (which is one of their latest celebrity collaborations) Jennifer Love Hewitt, Verbal, Kelly Rowland, Coco Rocha, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain and / or Nicky Hilton. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which is one of my favorites), a Culinary Box and Fancy Mystery Boxes.
Fancy Box ships via FedEx. This shipped on Friday and I received it today (Tuesday). The type of FedEx service Fancy box uses doesn’t deliver on Mondays, so their boxes never come on Monday’s for me.
I thought this was a great first look! I don’t know what’s been going on lately, but the November Rockettes Fancy Box didn’t include an information card (what’s up with that Fancy?), but the following items were included:
~Blue & Cream Coco Chanel Glass Trinket Tray ($18): I like this tray (and LOVE the quote), but umm, “Channel” is totally spelled wrong. It’s “Chanel” not “Channel”. This is an actual quote of hers, so I don’t think that it’s a pun, but who really knows? So while I do like it, I am annoyed / curious about this spelling error. It on purpose? Did no one notice? I have no idea.
~Rockettes Mug ($14.95): This is great and is totally something I would expect to find in a Rockettes Fancy Box. I have a ton of mugs (and love them all) and this will be a great addition.
~Mirrored Business Card Case (~$15) & I Drew This for You Cards ($4): I will likely give the cards to L and WB to use, but I am keeping the case for me. Both to store my own cards and cards that have been given to me. Oh and this is an awful picture, but it’s really a silver / mirrored like case.
~Rockettes Dance Bag (~$19.95): I couldn’t find this exact bag online, so I used a price from a somewhat similar bag. I’ll use this for the kids or as an overnight bag. It’s a pretty good sized bag and should fit enough for a night or two.
~EVO Beauty Is Skin Deep Women’s Essentials Kit ($12): This is another win for me. I have seen this in a previous Fancy Box and wished I’d have received it. Now here it is! This is an awesome travel / gym set and I’ll use it all!
All totaled I came up with a value of $83.90 for the November 2014 Rockettes Fancy Box. I have totally mixed feelings about this one. On one hand I like all of the items and will happily use them. And on the other hand, that misspelling gets me and the items that I could find on Fancy were on sale (I used the sale prices), so it kind of felt like they were trying to get rid of stuff by putting them in this box. But I liked the stuff and the fact that it was on sale probably meant I got more stuff than I would have otherwise. We’ll see what next month brings I guess!

I noticed the spelling before I even read the description! What were they thinking?!
I just do not get it.
I am going nuts over the misspelling. Whoever approved that should be found and brought to justice! I wouldn’t be able to use it because of that. I know I’m crazy but, I’m sorry, that’s crazy.
I do not understand! I think it’s a crime to spell Coco Chanel’s name wrong. Well, it’s for sure a crime of fashion.
Oh my word. They tray would have found a new home in my trash can, there’s no way I could have that sitting around with the name spelled wrong. Also, I’m trying to figure out how that goes with the Rockettes theme?

Otherwise, great box. But yes, not at all sure what you can do with that tray.
Although it appears to be spelled correctly on their site. Maybe you can message Blue & Cream directly and ask for a replacement?

I couldn’t find that exact one on their site, but I saw the other Chanel one correctly spelled! I need to e-mail them and get the scoop on this.
I know. Ahh, I keep looking at it. I guess I could put a trinket over the misspelling….

Mine came today too! I am so in love with that mug and I think the bag is a limited edition item you’d usually only get if you went through the master class which I believe is the audition process to get into the rockettes. I’m torn whether I want to keep the cup or give it to my mom since we both love the rockettes lol
I just got my Rockettes Fancybox and my Coco Chanel tray was spelled correctly… so weird! I would see if they could send you a replacement- definitely. I loved this months box! I recently went to Radio City and fell in love with all things New York/Rockettes/etc. I wasn’t able to get the other two, but this one is definitely a home run for me 🙂
That’s odd that some were spelled correctly and some not.. I just can’t see how that even happens haha! I wonder if its hand painted then?
I bet it was in the box because it was a mistaken production…..and they didn’t want to throw them away.
Definitely get to customer service about the misspelling…..that its just wrong on so many levels and its Chanel for gods sakes….how do you mess that up???? So Sad!!!
I find the misspelling amusing (but VERY wrong) because I knew a girl who was named Channel, but called Chanel. Pretty sure her mom just didn’t know how to spell, lol, but I always called her “Channel” because of the spelling. Sadly, I can be annoying like that.
