PopSugar Must Have Special Edition Holiday For Her & For Him

Ahh, PopSugar, why do you do this to us! The PopSugar Special Edition Must Have Holiday For Her and For Him are now available!  They are $100/each (plus tax) and no spoilers have been released yet (although I will certainly let you know as soon as we hear of one).

According to the website the boxes are scheduled to arrive mid-December and are billed as being “the perfect holiday surprise”.  I am going to try to hold off on the Men’s until we get some spoilers, but the Women’s?  Well, what can I say, I just can’t quit PopSugar.

What do you think?  Are you going to order one now or wait for a spoiler? Or are you planning to sit this one out?

    I got this for a friend last year for her birthday and I thought it was awesome. I don’t know about ordering now after the most recent debacle.

    I’ve always given PS all my money happily but after the insulting NM box, I cancelled the monthly sub and will not be buying anything from them again! Ugh, this makes me sad!!

    Last year my men’s boxes (I bought two) showed up the day after Christmas. With active shipping problems at Popsugar and some real frustration with the NM box, and with everyone getting $10 off each month who didn’t order a year in advance… I’m pretty frustrated with Popsugar. But… I have purchased every single box since the very first box that they came out with. I didn’t even hate the first Ilia lipstick/kind bar box. I don’t know that I can leave them now. Popsugar… you are one bad habit that is tough to break.

    Luckily I don’t think these will be selling out quickly so I’ll have plenty of time to wait for spoilers. Plus I have NM and hopefully soon the Nov. to help ease my PS withdrawal. PS is like a drug I just can’t quit!

    I’m so disappointed with PS right now… my last box was September and it was missing two items. I emailed them several times and they promised to send them within 2 weeks…that was 2 months ago. 🙁
    And I’ve gotten charged for both Oct. and Nov. and I got rid of my sub.
    So done with them.
    Very sad, they used to be my favorite.

    Ummmm, so yes, I am a sucker, and ordered one of each, without hesitation might I add. PS redeemed themselves with me a bit. I got my NM LE on Saturday, with 2 damaged items, and emailed them right away. They responded the NEXT DAY, on a SUNDAY, and are shipping out the replacements, with no hassle at all. So, I am giving them another shot with the LE’s.

    Ordered! I love their boxes. Sometimes I am late to try the items in it (like Oribe dry texturizing spray that I just tried today), but they have amazing stuff.

    PS I never want to use dry shampoo again, just that spray. 🙂

    Okay, so I love PopSugar and have subscribed since August 2012 and sub off and on this year and now I am back, I have missed out twice on the Holiday Box, so prayers and good thoughts for me that it will be available Friday when I can order!!!!
    By the way, email from their website and use lisaandteam@popsugar.com to email them regarding subscription issues and box shipments. I have emailed them and sometimes I got a speedy reply other times a week response. But they always resolved the issue to my satisfaction!!! I hope that helps anyone.     I am a little unsure about this box…like everyone else, I feel a bit burned by the NM box and the fact that my November box hasn’t shipped yet. I guess the benefit of so many people being disappointed is that they won’t sell out quickly and I can wait for spoilers to decide 😉

    Heck nooo.. I’ve sent 5 emails regarding my broken late October box that was charges on 10.1arived 10.31 in the evening.. yay for Halloween nail tattoos when I’m getting ready for bed..
    I was charges a few times for my NM box.. still no response..

    Yikes… Reading comments here and elsewhere, PS needs to do some damage control. I subbed from sept 2013-aug 2014 (and bought 3 LE boxes in that time, too), and only had two issues, both of which were fixed within a week of emailing their customer service. I stopped my sub since I saw the value dwindling, and it looks like I stopped just in time… Unless there are some amazing spoilers, though, I think I have to go with the other squeaky wheels and not deal with them again…

    I caved! I was disappointed with the NM, of course, but I figure they’ll work extra hard with the LE box to win back everyone’s favor. ….or at least we can hope, right?!

    I can’t believe anyone would buy from PopSugar after the way they have handled things the past two months. Every super happy comment about them seems like a troll to me. I’m not even a customer of theirs, and I never will be. All this whining about being disappointed but not wanting to cancel is just plain silly. Enjoy your box of junk!

    I feel like the limited edition boxes are hit or miss. Totally didn’t like the spring box and cancelled my subscription right after it. I’d like to see at least one spoiler before I decide.

    I admit, I’m a sucker for Popsugar. Though I have never bought the NM box (was disappointed last year but glad this year), I have bought every single regular Limited Edition box (not the mens or the babies etc) and they have been hit or miss.

    But…I am a bit disappointed that loyal customers like me (since box 2 I think) aren’t given a discount. Drives me nuts that all these folks game the system and cancel and then resub with discounts while I just plug along paying full price every month. They need to work on that.

    I also get the Nina Garcia special box every quarter. If that works out better in the long run, I’ll give up the Popsugar specials.

    I have the monthly sub since July 2014 and so far, I have been mostly happy. I also got the Fall LE box and it was just ok. I bought the NM box based on the fabulous 2013 box and when I saw the spoilers, I was so angry! I feel like I got ripped off! An $88 candle? $100 single picture frame?!? Oh, the clutch…in colbalt blue…..This seems like a slightly upgraded, predictable box that we get monthly. Then NM gave $50 off! GRRRRR! Total frustration and I haven’t gotten the box yet, but I wish I could send it right back to them. I will be swapping just about everything!

    I hate to say this and am so sorry that so many people have had issues with Popsugar. But I’m glad it wasn’t just me. I’ve only been sub for a couple of months because the three months prior, they couldn’t get my subscription going. It’s been terrible since day one. Received Sept…first box..liked it a lot then the big Oct debacle. Same as everyone else. End of the month. So…I quit. Saw spoiler for Nov and ordered. They will have to do much better. FabFitFun is my favorite! Awesome products and amazing customer service. That’s my go to gift box.
