Fridays Letters

Dear Baxter and Buddy, Professional dog groomers may not agree, but I think the haircuts I gave you yesterday look great! A little uneven maybe, but better than before!

Dear Me, No matter how cute you think other people’s bangs look, DO NOT DO IT. You will like them for about two weeks and then they will start getting in your eyes and you’ll have bang regret. Happens every time.

Dear L, I am sorry that you didn’t get a Golden Ticket yesterday. I know it sucks ;(.

Dear Jen, I cannot believe that you did not know that Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden were married. I expected more from you!

Dear The Superbowl, I wish you were this weekend instead of next weekend. I don’t know if I can take another week of listening to people talk about deflated balls.

Dear Parenthood, I am going to miss you.  I may even start all over from Season 1 to see the shows I missed and try to pretend it’s not over yet.

Dear Socks, I will never understand where you disappear to?  Every time I do laundry I am missing the matches to at least 5 pairs.  It makes no sense.  And it drives me insane.

Dear The Baby in American Sniper, I saw the clips and yeah, you look beyond fake.  Too funny!

Completely agree about the bangs. I got my bangs about a year ago and am still trying to grow them out to a nice length.

Haha, your letter to you is spot on for me, too. I keep thinking I want to get bangs again but I know I’ll just hate them the next day! Plus, my old bangs are finally long enough to not be in my face all the time and will fit in a pony tail. Now if I could just convince myself to dye my hair purple & blue since I bought the dye a long time ago and haven’t done it yet..

I can’t wait for the Super Bowl to be over. Even though it’s in Glendale and I live in Phoenix, it’s going to be insane everywhere. Though I suppose it’s not going to be as bad as last time it was here since I lived in Scottsdale then and that’s where all the parties happen. I kind of wish I didn’t have huge paranoia and would have listed my house for rent to make $$$$, lol.

I read on reddit that the socks that go missing usually end up in the filter or something. Not the one that collects lint but if you open the dryer up in the back there’s some sort of filter or something back there and that’s where all the missing socks go.

Bangs are cute at first, but such a pain to grow out. Stay strong! And where’s the picture of Baxter and Buddy with their new haircuts? They’re so cute, so can’t wait to see their new look!

I love my bangs. I have a high forehead so while I have had no bangs many times for years at a time I’m always happy when I get them cut. Of course I’m one of those people who will happily trim my own when they get annoying. I always wear them messy so it isn’t that noticable if they aren’t perfect. LOL
I have found the solution to mismatched socks and that is a 7yr old boy. LOL even when I match them up he wears unmatched ones so I started just tossing all his in his drawer and he wears whatever two he grabs out. It was annoying to me but since I don’t really see them with pants on anymore I deal.

If I had bangs, I would look 12…. Maybe I should get bangs!
Parenthood! It’s so emotional. I’m torn between not wanting it to end, and needing the emotional roller coaster to stop! Such a great show.
A friend of mine posted a photo of where all the socks go if you have a front loader machine. If you take the front cover off, they somehow get stuck in there. She must have had 100 socks stuck in that thing!

    OMG that baby! The movie was amazing … but that baby was so distracting in a few scenes! LOL As for the missing socks? It happens all the time here with my kids socks — but I usually find them in weird places. Behind/beside the dryer. Behind the floor freezer {its in the same room, and laundry usually gets piled there}. Folded in with sheets {if they kick them off in bed, and the sheets get stripped, then washed and folded, sometimes they don’t always fall out! Ha!}

I’m so sad there is only one episode of Parenthood left! I swear every episode lately has been making me cry;(!
