Pennie Post, who kindly sent me this package to review, is a monthly stationary subscription service. Each month you will receive at least 3 stationary items.  More commonly used greeting cards such as thank you notes and birthday cards will be included more often than other greetings. Seasonal cards such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and holiday may also be included during appropriate months.

The Package

Pennie Post ships via USPS and usually arrives the first week of the month.

The Information Card

The January 2015 Pennie Post theme was “White Winter” and included the following simple and fresh designs which will keep you in the winter spirit:

~Midnight Polar Bear Card: Pennie Post suggests using a metallic or a white one on this for the best results. That is a great idea and this card will be a great one to use to drop a friend a quick note with.

~Birch Tree Forest Card: I love cards on craft paper like this one. It fits the theme perfectly and is exactly what I would have picked of this month!

~Thank You Bubble Note Card: I need to write a few thank you cards this month and this will be one of the first I grab. It’s simple and it gives you lots of room to write your note.

As usual, I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this month’s Pennie Post.  The cards are specific to Pennie Post and you can’t get them anywhere else so there is no way to calculate the cost.  The subscription itself is $11/month though, which works out to about $3.67/item.  For cards of this quality I don’t think that is unreasonable by any means.
