Petit Vour, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box of cruelty-free beauty products, hand-picked from businesses that align quality with progressive standards. Boxes are $15/month and they do an excellent job making sure that the value well exceeds the cost.
Petit Vour ships via USPS and takes only a few days to arrive. Boxes ship in batches between the 15th and 20th of the month.
I am consistently impressed with Petit Vour and have loved most, if not all, of the brands they have included, so opening it is always a fun surprise.
The January 2015 Petit Vour theme is “The New Luxury” which was curated with the help of Supermodel Emily Nolan.. The following items were included:
~100% Pure French Lavender Hand Buttercream ($8): This felt awesome on my hands. It smells good and was very thick and rich. I thought it was very spa-like,
~EVOLVh Leave-In Conditioner ($7.68): I have tried a few other products from this line and have been pleased every time. This spray can be used on wet hair after the shower or as a refresher during the day.
~Modern Minerals En Pointe Eye Shadow ($12.50): I have gotten a few shadows from this brand in the past and they have all been great. It’s made with only the purest minerals and what’s even better is that this shade is exclusive to Petit Vour!
~RawSkinceuticals Rose Creme Cheek Color ($15): Thank goodness for information cards because I wasn’t sure what this was at first. I was thinking lips or cheeks and it turns out it’s cheeks! You can apply it with your fingers and I thought it blended in very nicely.
All totaled I came up with a value of $43.18 for the January 2015 Petit Vour box. It wasn’t my favorite box they’ve done or the most “valuable” box they have sent, but as usual it was a well curated and high quality box worth nearly 3x the price!

it’d be nice to see some swatches of the eye shadow. sometimes i feel like your reviews are incomplete when all they do is show the containers. I’d love to see a swipe of things on your arm so i can see colors out of their containers. i know you gift a lot of items and give consideration to using something before you do that, but i see lots of blogs that do it and still give things away. consider?
You are right, I should! I will work on getting better at this! I usually try not to open them if I am giving them away, but I doubt my sister-in-law or friends will care if I swipe something on my hand.
I need to work on my swatching skills, but here it is!
I liked this box. So i just subbed for three months. I took a break from another beauty box that cost a little more because i felt the samples were waaaaaay too small, for the price. But this one seems to be a nice mix. And there customer service so far seems very good.
