All of their coffee is sourced from responsible roasters who pay fair prices to coffee farmers and treat them with dignity. With their “Silver” subscription plan you will receive two 12oz. bags of coffee delivered right to your door each month. A bi-weekly option (Gold) and a 4-bag per month option (Platinum) is also available.
Caritas Coffee ships via USPS and arrives very quickly.
Coffee boxes always smell so amazing! Caritas Coffee doesn’t include an information card which is fine because you know exactly what will be included in your box. Subscribers are able to select the roasts they would like to receive and also are able to specify if they would like whole bean or ground coffee. Here are the bags I received in the February 2015 Caritas Coffee box:
~Caritas Coffee – Caritas Signature: Caritas Signature comes from Guatemala but is described as a having an “Italian spirit of a smokey taste and a smooth finish”. B drinks his coffee black and has called this one a new favorite!
~Caritas Coffee – Single Origin: Guatemala: This coffee is described as a medium roast with “virtually zero aftertaste”. I like my coffee with way too much cream, but I am going to attempt this one with much less cream and see what I think. I need to figure out where B put it though! He LOVES coffee (and therefore, coffee subscription boxes) and seems to hide the coffee away when it arrives.
Do you receive any coffee subscription boxes? If you are a big coffee drinker, it’s a fabulous way to make sure you won’t run out (because we all know that would be awful)! If you aren’t ready to take the subscription plunge, Caritas Coffee has a great sampler pack of all of their blends so you can try them and decide which is best for you! I also want to mention that Caritas Coffee donates $1 to charitable projects to support coffee farming communities for every 12oz bag of coffee you purchase.
