Bonjour Jolie, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a premium monthly subscription box designed exclusively for women to be pampered on their period. Each box contains up to 25 Feminine Items (your choice of pads, tampons, liners) you can select a full sealed box or mix and match a combo of feminine Products, a hand curated gift, specialty bath and body pampering items, artisan confections and teas and drinks. Boxes are $16/month plus shipping.
Bonjour Jolie ships via USPS. They ship based on preferences indicated in your profile. If you purchase before the 25th of the month your box will ship that month. If you purchase after the 25th of the month your box will ship the following month.
Bonjour Jolie packages their items in pretty organize bags and separates them by product type. Food in one, beauty items in one, etc.
The February 2015 Bonjour Jolie theme was “Love is in the Air” and included the following items:
~Natracare Cotton Tampons: Bonjour Jolie carries a ton of different brands including Kotex U by Kotex, StayFree, Always: Always, Always Infinity, Always Radiant Infinity*, Tampax: Tampax Radiant, Tampax Cardboard, Tampax Pearl, Playtex: Playtex Gentle Glide, Playtex Sport, Ob Tampons, Softcup: Disposable Menstrual Cups, NatraCare Organic and Seventh Generation. You can choose up to 25 items total in any combination of tampons, pads, or liners or you can opt to receive a full sealed box of the same brand.
~The Gift: Antiqued Silver Flower Cuff Bracelet ($20): This is pretty much like a crown for your wrist. That’s exactly what it reminds me of anyway!
~The Pampering (Solid Heart Lotion Bar by Faith, Soaps and Love, Hearts Full of RoseBuds Soap Petals by Kerah and Bonjour Jolie Natural Cherry Lip Balm): This is all very Valentine’s Day’ish and all fantastic. The rose petal soaps are so cool. You can use them in the bath or as hand soaps. I am guessing that no one would dare use them if you put them in a guest bathroom, but they would look so pretty on the counter. And I have always been a fan of Bonjour Jolie’s lip balm. The Cherry smells great and I have it in my office already.
~The Snacks (Leccare Lollipops, Double Decker Moonpie, Tazo Teas, etc.): Bonjour Jolie also packs every box full of snacks! B couldn’t wait until I was done taking because pictures before he tore into a few of these treats!
I didn’t do a cost breakdown for Bonjour Jolie, but since the bracelet alone is $20, it’s easy to say that the value of this one is well over the $21 cost of this box. They do a great job with their themes and I have always been impressed at how creative they are.
