1. 50 Shades of Grey. Are you going to see it when it’s released? Although I read the book, I never really got into the real 50 Shades craze. Maybe it’s because I read the book way after everyone else and had heard so much about it already that it wasn’t that big of a thing? I don’t know. Since I rarely go to the movies (it’s been SO long), I won’t be seeing it in the theatre, but I am sure we’ll watch it when it comes out on DVD!
2. What bag are you carrying these days? Do you carry a big bag everyday that you can store almost everything you own in or do you carry a smaller bag? 80% of the time I carry a giant bag that’s got pretty much everything the kids and B and I would ever need in it. You never know what you’ll find in my bag. Every once in a while I will switch to a smaller (but by no means small) bag, but I prefer carrying a giant one.
I am looking forward to hearing your answers on these today!
wouldnt it be gross to go see it at the movies?
i am a giant bag lady. my aunt just got me a “beaver believer” bag. it’s so awesome.
I think watching something like that with a bunch of strangers it just icky, so I will wait until it comes out.
I am definitely a big bag lady, the bigger the better!
My bag size depends on what I am doing that day. Every day, I carry a massive bag but if I am going to be walking around all day, such as at the zoo or something, I carry a small cross body and take just the bare essentials.
I tried to read the book when it was a big thing, but it was so poorly written I never even got to the point when the main characters met. I won’t be seeing the movie.
I’m a medium-size bag lady 😀
I am not into 50 Shades either. I am an avid reader and I thought the books were poorly written with the same phrases used over and over. For me it got boring after awhile. If Charlie Hunnam had kept the role of Christian Grey than I would see it though! LOL
I have just started carrying my wallet (Kate Spade.) I had surgery and couldn’t carry a heavy bag and once I stopped carrying it I really liked it!
1.. while I read the books, I just can’t see the actors as the characters. I’ll wait for the DVD or netflix version.
2. I’m still homebound but I bought a soft leather backpack for when I go back to work.
I haven’t read the books but am interested in seeing the movie pretty much only for Jamie Dornan. I watched him on the tv show The Fall on Netflix and I think he’s super hot, especially with a beard.
I never read 50 Shades of Grey, so I probably won’t watch the movie.
I have two main bags – a work bag and a “Mom” bag. The Mom bag is for the weekends and has all the stuff I could need for kids and the work bag has makeup and anything I might need at work.
I read the first 2 Fifty Shades books and couldn’t finish the third. It got way too boring. I probably won’t see it in theater either because I feel like they got the casting all wrong. I’ll wait until it comes out on DVD.
I have never read 50 Shades, never had the urge too, I prefer the mystery smut books. I probably won’t go see it in theaters either.
I usually only carry a wallet wristlet if anything (I have a pocket on my phone for credit card and ID), I have a small bag if I need a bag. I do have a larger Le Sport Sac bag for work, but I bring my mason jar salads and what not in that.
I read the books but I will prob wait to watch the movie on DVD.
During the week, I have a big bag, I prefer to have one big bag vs several bags but on the weekends, I am a small bag person.
BTW, did you ever get the LV bag you wanted????
1. Confession: I haven’t read it. I don’t plan to see the movie either. But you never know. Stranger things have happened!
2. I’m carrying a Gucci bag that’s like a small duffle. It’s pretty huge, but I wear it as a crossbody. Generally it stays in the car and I just take my wallet in to the store or whatever. I’ve been trying to be better about switching my bag out to go with what I’m wearing because I have so many bags just sitting around that I really do love… But it’s winter, so I’m lazy. Doesn’t happen as often as it should. I was always a small bag carrier up until last year. I kind of like having all my stuff available with me. I still stick with small bags for social occasions though.
Was not fond of the book and there are better movies out there for this. Agree with those that say the main guy is just NOT Christian so will not pay to go see it. I will say that my 78 year old Aunt is going with a bunch of her “single” girlfriends on Valentines Day to see it 🙂
Big purse. Allways.
did not read the book and will not go see the movie might watch it when it comes out in dvd
i agree there are books out there about the lifestyle that are much better than 50 shades of gray .
as for a purse if i can’t carry it in my pocket or my phone pouch which is attached to my belt i don’t need it i just never carried a purse even when i was a teenager
I’m so happy I can read the comments AND comment again 🙂
1. I had absolutely no urge to read the books & definitely won’t be wasting my money on the movie. I mostly read nonfiction & my favorite book & movie are both Unbroken, so 50 Shades is complete opposite of that hah! I feel like I’m the complete opposite of every 23 year old 😉
2. I carry a medium Michael Kor’s crossbody bag all week to work & everywhere else, but if I’m going out at night I have 2 smaller crossbodys that I use. I use to be a big purse girl, but have definitely sized down.
1. I am totally going to watch it at home as well. I read the books and can’t imagine a theater experience watching that type of a movie. #awkward
2. I carry the medium sized Longchamp Le Pliage Neo Tote during the week as my commuter bag. It’s a perfect size and can be carried with the handles or as a crossbody. Because it is a large bag I have some Vera Bradley accessories which help keep me organized and add a fun pop of color. On the weekend I carry a smaller Longchamp Le Pliage Neo Crossbody bag which is the perfect size for running errands. Longchamp is my brand obsession, living in Seattle a weather proofed bag is a must.
2. A homemade bag.
1. No, and nobody I know is. Interesting fact, a lot of the BDSM community is boycotting it because it’s not a consensual kink relationship, but an abusive relationship. People have compiled lists and written in great detail about of all the stalker and abusive behavior the main character does that’s supposed to somehow be romantic and manly. I haven’t read it myself but it seems to be a pretty horrible depiction of some seriously unhealthy coercive abuse. Now, if I hadn’t read so many article and blog posts on this, I probably would’ve watched it just out of curiosity.
TMI possibly, and I apologize if that’s a downer.
