~Good morning!  It’s just a regular week around here. L’s got a full week of school (no snow days this week!), B’s got work / National Guard and I have some PTO stuff going on.  I want to take the kids to the trampoline park this week too, so hopefully we can fit that in.

~I am sure everyone knows about this, but I just found out a few months ago that the lines on Red Solo Cup are actually measurements.  Exactly where have I been that I didn’t know this about 15 years ago?  Geez.

~It’s the beginning of the month and that means a fresh start to all the subscription boxes! I am really hoping we get full March PopSugar Must Have Box spoilers this week.  We’ll see about that one though.  I am expecting For the Faithful, Kiwi Crate (I thought that was coming last week but it turned out to be my Doodle Crate), Stitch Fix, Hazel Lane (February), The Boodle Box, Birchbox Man and Wantable.

~Target has a Buy One Get 1 50% off sandals and canvas shoes right now so I grabbed two pair including these Cap Toe Espadrille Flats.  I have been eyeing them for a while and was going to wait until it got warmer and I could actually wear them outside, but they’ll be long gone by then.

~Just when you think you’ve seen it all, you find out there is a company that will turn a picture of your dog into a stuffed animal.  No, I am serious.  B and I were looking at pictures of them the other night (#getalife) and we couldn’t always tell the real from the fake.  Obviously Baxter and Buddy Cuddle Clones would be adorable, but what does one do with a $199 stuffed dog?   Is it kind of like those Reborn Dolls?

~Do you have any vacations coming up?  Doing anything for Spring Break?  We never ended up booking anything big because we didn’t know B’s schedule, but hopefully we’ll finally make it down to the Toledo Zoo.  Or a weekend in Toronto?  Maybe we’ll let L and WB (he’ll just pick whatever L picks though) decide.  Maybe not though because he constantly talks about going to Hawaii (what?) so he’d just suggest that ;).

That’s all for now! How was your weekend? What do you have going on this week?  And of course, what subscription boxes are you expecting this week?

I love those dog stuffies! I have seriously thought about doing this for my dogs but its hella expensive.

My dog looks like such a generic Rottweiler that I could probably buy something off the shelf. (I guess that’s the point with purebreds, though…) Anyway, if she even got close to such a thing, she’d tear it to pieces in minutes.

I actually had learned that awhile back about the red solo cups, but forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder!
I think those stuffies are amazing! I agree a $200 stuffed animal is absurd. But I also may actually have one made some day. I have a horse right now that is amazing. He’s helped me win a ton, has always done everything asked of him in winning form, and is probably the sweetest being I’ve ever known. He’s definitely my best friend. Last year he was infected by a parasite which left him with neurological issues and weird muscle atrophy. Prior to that he was like zoolander… (Reallly, really, ridiculously good looking.) So when the time comes that we have to say good bye, I want to have one of these created of him. Just so he’s always around.
No vacations on my horizon, though I wish there was. I’ve had all I can take of this constant snow!
I just got Boodle Box on Saturday! It’s adorable as per the norm. Most of mine come later in the month, so I don’t think anything this week. Boo.

The weekend went by too fast as usual. I was hoping it would start warming up here in Kentucky but looks like more “significant snow accumulations” on Wednesday, ugh!
Those Cuddle Clones are too adorable but with three dogs, I’m not sure we can fit that in our budget, haha.
No subscription boxes for me this week that I can think of. I am expecting a package from Target this week. Bought some cute sweaters on clearance last week so at least there’s that! 🙂

My weekend was almost as busy as my week! Back in December, signing up for a 3-week Saturday class to get 2 graduate/law credits seemed like a fantastic idea. Now, not so much. The class is incredibly interesting (mediation techniques), but exhausting. We’re also still adjusting to our new foster-baby, so it seems like there are never enough hours in a day.

However, my husband and I are super-excited about our trip to Beijing at the end of the month. A couple weeks ago we were browsing travel sites for spring break trips and I realized that air/hotel packages were really inexpensive to international locations. We went back and forth a couple of hours about where we wanted to go, but finally settled on Beijing. We’ve been to Europe together twice, but he’s never been to Asia, although I’ve been to China a number of times. Just thinking about it makes me smile!

I am headed to Carmel for a four day get together with my girls at a Scrapbooking retreat thing this weekend. I believe there will be wine and good food, but I have no idea if any scrapbooking will actually get done!

My husband goes to Bolivia with his Dad in May, I plan on a staycation for myself that week 🙂

Those cuddle clones are cute, but way too exspensive for me! Well if it makes you feel any better I didn’t know that about the solo cups, it’s interesting though. I am counting down the days till spring break, we are going on a cruise to the Bahamas!

The Cuddle Clones is something I would do, but those Reborn Dolls are just creepy!

I can see the Cuddy Clones being popular. I enjoy cuddling with my dogs. We are going on a marriage retreat and taking an extra day in the Lancaster (Amish) area in a few weeks.

For the Faithful came today. Love& Blessed, Goodebox, and ArcadeBlock should come this week. This reminds me that I need to cancel Arcade Block. I subscribed for the Zelda items.
