Two questions today…..

1. What’s your current favorite subscription box? I am sure this changes pretty often for you (I know it does for me), but what boxes are you loving right now? I am loving Little Lace Box, Mommy Mailbox (although I have only gotten one month), PopSugar (always), Dottiebox and MissionCute.  Those have been standing out to me the past few months. I’ve also been impressed with Sample Society and BOXYCHARM lately too.

2. What’s your skincare routine?  I know we’ve covered this before, but I love hearing what everyone uses.  I switch mine up so much because I like to try all the new products I get, but I think (okay I am sure), it’s part of my skin problems.  So for now I am trying to settle into a routine with cleanser (I’m currently using this from Target), White & Elm Pomegranate Renewing Eye Serum (from this month’s Kloverbox) and I am doing the Bliss from PopSugar twice a week.

Now it’s your turn!

My favorite subscriptions are: Birchbox, Popsugar, and Sample Society. I get the most excited about these 🙂

My skincare routine: I have been using the FAB gentle cleanser in the morning and the Tatcha oil cleanser at night. I use the Caudalie Vinosource serum (my favorite!), and the Ginzing moisturizer and Ginzing eye cream from Origins. When I like to use a mask I just dig into my sample stash and choose whichever I am interested in that day lol

  2. Chrissy

I love Popsugar so much! And Yuzen even though it’s quarterly – there is always so much great stuff in there!

Right now I use Acure cleanser daily with the Acure scrub a few times a week, palmetto serum (so excited to get more from FFF), and Supergoop eye cream and sunscreen.

  3. PA Anna

Right now my favorite subs are Kloverbox, Little Lace Box, and GlobeIn. The family’s favorite are Globein and New England Sack.

I finished up a few products recently and am working on using products from my stash that does not irritate my rosacea. Cleanser – Morning routine- Jillian Wright Skincare Gentle Peptide cleanser from the Eco Emi box, Mychelle Pure Harmony Serum (Goodebox), TATCHA moisture rick silk cream (2 week sample because I finished my other cream), and Pelle Beauty Beauty Oil Luxe. Evening I start with the PhytoBasix Dermal Detox Precleanse or TATCHA Camilia Cleansing oil, followed by either Gourmet Body Treats Chamomile Cleanser Cream or TATCHA Rice Enzyme Powder (Goodebox LE),TATCHA moisture rich silk cream, Pelle Beauty Beauty Oil Stellar, and a mask most nights.

The GBT Chamomile Cleansing Cream is what I generally use the most as a cleanser. It calms my skin if I try something new that agitates my rosacea. I use eye cream if I remember it!

My favorites are Kloverbox, Love With Food, and probably GlobeIn.

I’ve tried to have facial routines, but I can’t do much consistently beyond washing my face with a cleanser, use toner, then moisturizer. No favorites, just whatever I’ve gotten in boxes (as long as their natural products).

  5. Stacie

    1. It’s so hard to pick! I’ll go with favorites for different categories:
Crafts: Blueberry Cove (they do an AMAZING job curating boxes)
Horse: Heart to Horse Box (full size items, name brands, impressive for the price tag)
Dog: Barkbox (My dogs always pick the toys from Barkbox out of their giant pile)
Makeup: Ipsy (for $10, it’s amazing what they send!)
Fitness: Stridebox (They impress me every month. EVERY. MONTH!)
Jewelry/Apparel: Nicole’s Creations (She really gets me)

    2. I’m addicted to Proactiv. I’ve tried to change to something cheaper, but every time I switch, I break out like a pre-teen. They have a full line of product, and it all works great for me. I don’t subscribe anymore, but they have a vending machine at a mall near me, so I buy it there.

    1) I think my favorite is actually Blue Apron, when we get it. It’s so delicious! 🙂 Others I like right now are NatureBox, PopSugar, FabFitFun, and BirchBox. I love the little booky extras in the Book Riot Quarterly boxes, too. 🙂

    2) I’ve been using Olay Professional Pro-X exfoliating renewal cleanser followed by Olay Total Effects 7 in One. I like it so far! It’s made my skin a lot softer! 🙂 I put Nivea A Kiss of Care & Color on my lips at night and it’s really helped in the dry winter months. Then I use La Natura superfruit on my elbows. My favorite lotion at the moment is Simpatico No. Ambergris 72. 🙂

  7. Tara m

I always love popsugar :). Also little lace box, and I’m kinda loving candy club I have a bit of a sweet tooth and it’s kind of fun having some candy around when I have company over

  8. Britney

I consistently love FabFitFun and Boxycharm!

I use Avene Clearance, Ponds Rejuveness, Avon Genetics and once a week I do a mask.

  9. Tara m

I think the second part of my comment got cut off…I have changed my skin care routine since I read the book Younger by dr Harold Lancer he has a three part system to use everyday polish, cleanse, nourish. He says you should exfoliate everyday and my skin has never been better! I like that he advises you to use his products but also gives cheaper alternatives. I’ve also been using the Sunday Riley treatment and it is amazing and has really helped the discoloration I’ve had since I was pregnant with my son. It’s expensive but worth it!

  10. Madelyn

Popsugar will always be my favorite.

Skincare routine…Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser twice a day, once with the Clarisonic. Sephora Regenerating Oil Serum and Purlisse SPF during the day, and Philosophy Help Me Retinol treatment and First Aid Ultra Cream at night. Kate Somerville Exfolikate twice a week.

OMG, there’s a HORSE SUBSCRIPTION BOX??? ACK!!! Sounds like I am going to be signing up for another box. I am loving LLB. Stitch Fix is keeping me fashionable and Bark Box is keeping the pups happy.

As for another note, I’m not allowed to comment via my mobile? I keep getting a notification that says something like 404 that action is forbidden? Or something? I tried clearing my cache but it’s still doing it?

    1. Jennifer

LOL. You should be allowed to comment. Let me look into it! I changed some mobile stuff around and maybe there is a setting I need to update!

    2. Stacie

There are a few horse boxes!
Heart to Horse, in my opinion, is the best.
A Horse Box sends samples, and it’s mostly supplement and feed samples… meh
The Pony Box has REALLY cute saddle pads and things, but they are a disaster, ship late if at all. Don’t answer emails, etc. I imagine they’ll be out of business very soon.
Heart to Horse sends something for horse AND rider usually in every box. Full size products too. 25% of the proceeds each month go to a horse related charity too. It’s done by Stateline. I’ve actually reviewed them on my blog some: http://www.amateuratlarge.blogspot.com

      1. Melissa

Awesome, I had no idea!! Thanks also for the link to your reviews, they will be super helpful for ordering 🙂 So glad for this Two on Tuesday!

  12. Jessica G

I love PopSugar and I’m warming up to LLB. My husband LOVES LootCrate. We’re trying out some of the other geeky boxes and LC is still his favorite. I’m sure that will change when the Marvel Collector’s box comes though. I haven’t even mentioned it to him — it will be an awesome surprise.

Skincare is the bane of my existence. Like many other things in my life, I know I SHOULD spend more time on it, but I don’t. I got a nice face wash/scrub when I was traveling over the summer (it has those little microbeads in it), which really works well, but since I’m not going back to France any time soon, I’m going to have to start scouring the internet. I use that, and whatever amazing skin products I get in boxes. The Bliss scrub from PS is amazing & I’m still using the facewash from the August box? Or was that the fall LE?

  13. WendyinCA

Favorite boxes- I have WAY too much stuff right now so I’ve unsubed to most everything except my year sub to Birchbox, Walmart, Glossybox & Love w Food. My new thing is to get the special boxes when they come out (I love a good spoiler first!) I loved my Artisan Gift Wrap Valentine box with the cute drinking glasses that make me smile!
Routine- trying all my new stuff but I’d been using the Mirenesse line (wash, serum (plumps my fine lines!), moisturizer which worked great. Now I’m using the Liz Earl cloth cleanser thing (working great) & just finishing the Ole Henriksen gels trial (meh) and now onto beauty oils starting last night. Scary as I’m used to thinking that Oil=zits. I like the simple ingredients list though.

  14. Mrs. L

I basically have given up most of my subscriptions. I still have PopSugar, Glossybox (which I will end soon), Hatchery (food), and Studio Calico (which is scrapbooking). And I did sign up for Rachel Zoe. PopSugar and Hatchery are my favorites by far, which is why I kept them.

I have a TON of face stuff from all the subscription boxes. I’m trying to use them all up. I have a few favorites (I’ve saved the empties in a baggie) so that when I finally use up my stash I can look to see if any of them are worth ordering in larger sizes, but honestly, except for my make-up remover (which is Lancome) I’m all over the map with these samples! (My skin is actually good right now but I think that is more of a change in diet thing than the products).

  15. Jen H

I love Popsugar, Little Lace Box and Birchbox. I have finally settled on those as my monthly boxes after trying a bunch of them.
I am a Perfectly Posh lady – so its BFF – Best Face Forever face wash, Moisture 911 for moisturizer. I do a mask 2-3 times a week – Stripper or Seawitch or Saint if I need moisture. My skin feels wonderful!

  16. Kristin S.

I gave up all my subscription boxes. Most of what I got was beauty products which I don’t need. 🙂 And I was just spending WAY too much $ on my stitch fix habit! Eek!

So I’m an Arbonne girl. I’m well out of my 20s *ahem* so I am all about the Re9 anti-aging line and the Genius resurfacing pads. <—– those things are magic! 😉

  17. Amy

I love PopSugar, Glossybox and our Pupbox–so fun!

My skin care routine is Paula’s Choice–I use the Skin Recovery system am/pm, the Vitamin C serum, different Retinol serums, and once a week I use the Resist 10% AHA treatment. I have very sensitive skin with eczema and was never able to use any anti-aging products without having issues. I love PC products. I have used a couple of things that didn’t work for me–the newest Retinol 1% treatment made my neck very red and I had to stop using it but everything else I love. My daughter even started using the Hydralight System and loves it as well.

  18. Hannah

    1. I just got my 2nd Little Lace Box & I absolutely loved it so that’s my newest favorite. But Birchbox will always be my 1st box & my favorite overall.
    2. Ugh my skincare routine isn’t anything right now. I need to get back into it, especially since I have so many products to use.

  19. Janaya

    1. My current favorite subscription box is definitely StitchFix! I decided to give them a try when you posted the risk free March coupon code, and now I’m officially obsessed! Love them!

    2. I’m pretty simple when it comes to my skincare routine, I use Philiophy’s Purity face cleanser daily, along with a Clinique moisturizer, and then once a week I use my clarisonic.

  20. Marla Johnson

I just cancelled most of my subscription boxes! I think it’s just time to try something different. (Maybe a snack box like Urth Box.). But I am keeping Yogi Surprise and Boxycharm. I am still enjoying Yogi Surprise (loved March!), and Boxycharm is an awesome deal and has been sending great products. I also have the spring FabFitFun ordered, but I’m not committed to every quarter. One of the reasons I ordered the spring FFF is because it will have Palmetto Derma Collagen Booster & Restoration Serum which I LOVE. I am using it twice a day and my skin is happy about it. I’ve been using PD’s eye cream too, which is light, non-greasy, easily absorbed and has not causes any issues with my somewhat sensitive eyes.
