My Spring 2015 L’OcciBox by L’Occtaine arrived yesterday! This is second time L’Occtaine has offered a box like this and I’ve ordered it both times. It’s a one-time purchase of $48.50 (I used a coupon code and only paid $20) and features a sample sized collection of L’Occtaine latest and greatest products.
The L’OcciBox shipped the day after I ordered it via USPS Priority Mail. I believe that you can also order it online and pick it up in stores, but my local L’Occtaine didn’t have any in stock. The outer box was just a normal USPS Priority Mail box, but inside that was this gorgeous gift box. So pretty.
All of the contents of the box are revealed in advance, but it’s always fun to unbox and see everything in person. Here is what the Spring 2015 L’OcciBox contained:
~Jasmin & Bergamote Eau de Toilette ($1.25): This is a really pretty light floral scent. I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I do actually!
~Immortelle Precious Serum ($16.10): This is supposed to “protect and restore the skin’s luster”. I haven’t tried it yet (and wouldn’t be able to see any results after just a few tries anyway), but it gets rave reviews online. I opened it expecting it to just be an open contained that you poured into your hand, but it’s got a little spatula on the cap so you can get every last drop out of this bottle.
~Immortelle Brightening Essence Sample ($2.10): The consistency of this one is similar to an oil. But it rubs in and leaves your skin nice and smooth. Sadly this is only a one-time use sample so I really don’t know if this evens out and brightens the skin like it says.
~Shea Butter Hand Cream ($3.60): The L’Occtaine hand creams are my favorite! This one is thick and rich, but doesn’t leave your hands the least bit greasy. If you have never tried their hand cream you really should.
~Shea Whipped Hand Cream ($12): I don’t think I have tried their whipped hand cream before? I might like it even better than the original though. The consistency is almost like frosting. It’s just as moisturizing, but feels lighter so it’s really nice for Spring / Summer.
~Bonne Mere Rose Soap ($7): This is so pretty that I might just end up putting it in the bathroom as a decorative soap. A usable one though. It smells like roses (you probably guessed that though) and is pretty strong so I think it will throw off a nice all around scent.
~Cube of Sugarfina Champagne Bears ($8): I have gotten Sugarfina Champagne bears in the past and I love them. I don’t know that they taste like champagne really, but I think they are less sugary than the regular gummy bears.
All totaled I came up with a value of $50.05 for the Spring 2015 L’OcciBox! I doubt I would have paid full price for it, but for $20, it’s a great deal!
If you want to order the Spring 2015 L’OcciBox (they are still available), you can use the coupon code “SUGAR” or “loccibox” (that will get you an additional perfume sample) to get the box for just $20! Shipping is additional but if you go through ebates you will get 3% cash back!
