~Good morning! I am not sure how it happened, but we have a busy week happening here! I have PTO stuff I am working on and we managed to squeeze in a trip to Chuck E Cheese, the farm, the playground and swimming!  And today we are headed to the zoo.  L wants to go to the cider mill to pick strawberries, so that’s on the agenda for tomorrow.  Not a bad week at all.  And listen, Chuck E Cheese right at opening on a weekday is where it’s at.  NO ONE is there.  Perfect.

~Tomorrow is Uber Ice Cream Day! I doubt Uber is going to come out to the burbs to bring us some treats (they are delivering The Detroit Pop Shop) for a reasonable price, but if you are in a city or work in a big office, check it out tomorrow.  How fun would that be to have the ice-cream truck come to work?

~I don’t have too many boxes still coming this week, but I should be getting BarkBox, Mantry, PupJoy and Underclub for sure.

~Did you hear that the new IKEA catalog is available online?  Eeek!  I browsed through it a little, but I am waiting for the paper copy to come in a few weeks to really dive into it.  If you aren’t already on the list, you can sign up here to get it.  I also discovered that IKEA has a new in-store candy shop!  The candy is all made in Europe with Swedish recipes and everything is free of trans fat, high-fructose corn syrup, and GMOs, and feature only natural colors.  As if the kids and I didn’t love IKEA as it is!

~If you need something to wash that candy down with, Lululemon is coming out with a beer! “Curiosity Lager” will only be available after the SeaWheeze Half Marathon (it’s sponsored by lulu) in Vancouver, BC and in Lululemon stores in British Columbia and Alberta, Canada for a limited time.  Hopefully it appears in the States eventually too.  It’ll probably cost like $15 a can (LOL), but if you happen to try it let me know what you think!  Sort of related, but I am hearing that “Not Your Father’s Rootbeer” is like the beer of the summer.  A cousin of mine up-north is relying on me to find some down here and I am hoping it’s not as difficult as it seems!

~And finally, Fabletics is planning on opening up retail stores!  They are coming to malls in six locations, including Bridgewater, NJ  (Bridgewater Commons), Columbia, MD (The Mall in Columbia), Canoga Park, CA (The Village at Westfield Topanga), Wilmington, DE (Christiana Mall), Cincinnati (Kenwood Towne Centre), and St. Louis (Saint Louis Galleria) with the first stores opening up on September 3rd!

That’s all from here!  So much random information here today. LOL! What are you doing this weekend?  Are you expecting anymore boxes this week?

Omg! I just signed up for my Ikea catalog- which is PERFECT timing since we just closed on a fixer upper Tuesday that I’ll have to get stuff for (including cabinets etc) The ‘local’ Ikea is 4 hours away. Lulu beer is curious… If I can’t sport a Lulu logo on my butt, it’s just not that amazing. Fabletics stores- awesome!

I’ve been wanting to go to IKEA for a while now. I haven’t been in about a year but there are a few things I need to get. Like inserts for my kallax shelving units, but I don’t like the available colors. I want to get a vanity too…

We’re probably going to go camping and/or hiking this weekend. Hopefully.

Fabletics in St Louis?!? Yay! Thanks for the heads up…just made my day!

I live in the Cincinnati area and Kenwood Mall is between my house and my work! I’ve never tried Fabletics (I have to try things on and I hate returning things… especially by mail.) I’m also less than 10 minutes from Ikea!!

    Hi Jen

Ok I think I need to make IKEA on my list just for the candy next MI trip!
So today, I visited all the other linked blogs and followed the ones I could via WP.
It’s my birthday and I’m enjoying a glass of wine and thinking of the late steak dinner we will have.
