~Happy Sunday! Everyone is back home and I love it. L had a fabulous time up-north (I don’t think he’s as excited to be home as I am for him to be home) and B’s happy to be back sleeping in his own bed again. Life is good!
~Speaking of sleeping, I got sucked into watching an infomercial for “MyPillow” and decided that this “life changing pillow” was exactly what I needed to stop waking up with a sore neck in the morning. Seriously, it’s bad. Anyway, I found the Bamboo Miracle Pillow at Target (which I am guessing is similar) and am hoping it works. My neck didn’t hurt when I woke up today, but I also slept like crap, so who knows if it made any difference at all.
~B and I (and WB) went to a new pizza place by our house last night for dinner. They cook their pizzas in a 900 degree oven for 90 seconds. It was amazing. Even WB loved it and he isn’t really a big fan of, well, eating. We’ll for sure be back.
~We also watched “Unfinished Business” with Vince Vaughn last night. It was so stupid it was funny. I was cracking up. I think it got awful reviews, but it was a good Saturday night pick.
~For the people that asked on Instagram, Not Your Father’s Root Beer is actual beer, but it tastes just like root beer. I don’t know that you’d want to have more than one or two of them at a time because it’s really sweet though. We had some Friday night and I woke up Saturday with a massive headache. Ouch. I need to make a root beer float with it and see what that’s like next.
That’s all for now! I hope you are having a good night!
I made a root beer float with NYFRB and vanilla frozen yogurt the other day and it was DELICIOUS. It foamed up the way a regular root beer float does, too.
I bought a My Pillow last year but continued to use the contoured one I already had. I tried the Bamboo one next, and after two nights, I had a horrible crick in my neck that lasted two weeks. I grabbed up the My Pillow after those two horrible nights, and it has been a dream. I love it so much that when QVC had two of their premium pillows as a today’s special last week, I grabbed them up. No more pillow adventures for me.
My mom was having bad neck issues… she bought a my pillow and has loved it for the last 2 years.
Then I bought one a year ago and have been enjoying it – not sure if I’d call it amazing, but I also don’t have any neck pain. It’s especially useful to bring on trips since it’s so light weight and can be squeezed into luggage – now I never leave home without it.
ITA, it’s fabulous on a trip! I’ve found quite a few hotels with nice beds but only one with great pillows, and that was in only one of their rooms (all decorated differently). It’s vital to have your own pillow.
