~Good evening! Ahh, let’s seem what is happening here. B and I had a little day date today in the “D” while the kids hung out and Nana and Papa’s house. We had brunch at Selden Standard (not sure I’d have brunch there again), made a little donation at MGM Grand and then browsed around the Eastern Market. It was a very nice day!

~Does anyone have a chandelier (or something along those lines) in their bedroom?  We want to rip out the carpet in there and put down wood floor and I feel like this opens the door for me to get rid of the ceiling fan.  B loves the fan (he says he just likes the noise), but I cannot stand have a “breeze” in my hair when I sleep.  There has to be some sort of compromise for us right?

~Last night we watched “No Escape” with Owen Wilson and Lake Bell. It was pretty good. I thought it was odd to see Owen Wilson in a serious / action type role, but I liked it.  It seemed very unrealistic, but I was captivated by it.

~Is anyone else as obsessed with Chip and Joanna Gaines as I am?  I so want them to reno a farmhouse for me.  I may need to move to Waco for this to happen, but it could be worth it because they are just SO cool.  Those houses!  I am all about the farmhouse style lately and need to get on Pinterest (also known as a complete time suck) to get some ideas for my house!

That’s it from here.  I hope you are having a great Sunday night!!!

I love Chip and Joanna Gaines. They’re awesome.

I told my husband when we move back to the Waco area (that’s where we’re from originally) that they are SO doing our house… either that or he has to build me a brand spanking new one!! I’m *hoping* to go to the silos while we’re home for Christmas.
Also, I have seen chandelier ceiling fans, I don’t how I feel about them… but maybe y’all can compromise!

A noise machine ( very inexpensive nowadays) set on white noise sounds to me like the whirl of a fan. Saved our marriage! Haha

when alena & i went to nyc, we hung out in our hotel room watching them! totally obsessed! BEST TIME EVER!

and when i moved into my house my uncle drove up from florida and installed 3 fans for me. i was also 37 weeks pregnant and HAD TO HAVE THEM THAT MINUTE

It *probably* would have been quicker to hire someone local. LOL!!!!!

We have a fan in our bedroom which is always on. I don’t mind it, but I get overheated when I sleep.
If the cooling factor is any issue I highly recommend one of those air conditioned mattress pad things from sleep number. I hate hate hate my sleep number bed, but this cooler thing was the best purchase ever. It also heats, but I live in Florida…. Lol! Each side is individually controlled. It was expensive, but I think/hope it lasts forever. I also saw one on shark tank a while ago that was wayyyy less expensive. It also makes some noise, not loud but just white noise I guess.

I HATE air blowing on me, especially when I’m sleeping! When I renovated the house last year I took the fan out of my room and put in a pretty white chandelier! I LOVE it! SO different and fun! I’ll post a pic on IG when I get home tonight!

SAME. I cannot stand it. And if it makes my hair touch my face? No. Just no. Makes me want to lose my mind. I can’t wait to see what you did!!!

When we redid my bedroom a few years ago we took out the ceiling fan and my brother installed a mini chandelier. I have trouble sleeping when I’m too cold so I wasn’t going to use the ceiling fan anyway and I love my lil pink and white chandelier!
