~Good evening! Is everyone ready to get back to work / school tomorrow? I’ll admit, I don’t think we are ready to get back in the swing of things. B is in Germany for a while so we are all just thrown off. L is sort of excited for back to school though because they are getting a new kid in their class and he wants to meet him. W? I don’t think he cares either way.
~We ended Christmas Break with a little game of Pie Face today. I finally found it at the store and it is pretty fun. It might have been more fun to just throw whipped cream in each others faces but I guess that’s not really a game is it?
~Making A Murder. Are you watching? Like the rest of the internet, I am hooked. I think I am about halfway through? So many things about this case. I am not sure I think Avery did it (I don’t think Brendan did it) but that leaves the question of who did do it and I don’t know that.
~After dropping B off at the airport we hit up another Target to check out their clearance goodies. They had some good stuff, but if I needed cookie cutters this would have been the place to be. They had a ton. Like a TON. More than what was in this picture even. So weird.
~Has anyone ever attempted their own DIY headboard? I saw this on Instagram and I am in love! Do you think this is doable? It looks easy, but all those DIY projects always look SO easy. LOL! If you have attempted a DIY headboard, what kind of bed frame do you use? This is something I will need to purchase separate or can I use the one I already have?

I have sold vintage window shutters/closet doorwith shutter slats/old doors to people for head boards and they attatch it to the wall..not the bedframe…very easy..that laura chic on flea m flip has done it..sure it can be u tubed..very cool

We finished making a murderer last night. I can’t remember ever being so fired up about a show/story. I kind of want to drive to Wisconsin and find Ken and Len and give them a piece of my mind. Googling more info is insane as well. I just got an email saying that the petition for Obama to look over his case passed 100,000 people today so he actually has to look it over and consider a pardon. I don’t know what I think either, but keep watching! Your mind will keep changing! Ahhhh!!!!
That game looks like fun!!! I love the headboard, however, I am always a scary car when it comes to DIY!!! Go for it…if you do, or when you do…let us know how it was.
Check out the Shanty2chic website for the headboard ideas. Those girls are awesome!! On the Avery’s- such a bad situation. Not sure if they did it or not. But wow at the mishandling!!! Love you and your family!!!
Just from watching tons and tons of hgtv I bet it is nailed to the studs on the wall. that seems to be what they are doing in all the shows these days

All three stores have always had the dollar stuff in the front. I think the Valentine Day’s stuff just went quickly. There’s not much at any of the stores. Do they ever restock this stuff?
I made a tufted headboard and like someone said, it is screwed into the studs in the wall so no need to mess with the frame at all. You can’t tell it isn’t part of the bed either.
