The March 2016 Beauty Box 5 theme was “Make Room to Bloom” and included the following items:

~Colour Me Sky Blue Fragrance (Sample): This sample is described as a feminine fragrance with jasmine, enhanced by a peppery freesia base.  I’m not a real big fan of it.  It’s better on the dry down, but it’s too peppery for me.

~Mai Couture Blush & Highlighter Papers ($1.20):  I was super excited to see these in here!  You can use them for a quick touch up when you are on the run.  You get some color and dab out shine too.

~Pur~Lisse Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Eye Adore Serum ($30.33): Wow!  This little serum is pricey.  It is designed to fight puffiness, wrinkles and dark circles.  I have been super into eye creams lately and can’t wait to see what this one does for me.  It says on the information card that it’s gentle, but I could feel it on my skin the first time I used it.  I want to describe it as burning, but it wasn’t painful really? Maybe I just felt it working?

~Glamour Dolls Glitter Eyeliner (Mary Jane) ($3.99): Other than St. Patrick’s Day I can’t really see why I would need green glitter eyeliner.  Well, I would need it if my Spartans were still in March Madness, but, yeah, they aren’t, so I don’t.  I will save it for football season I guess.

~Personail Custom Floral Nail Polish Wraps ($12.99): These are so fun!  I am horrible at applying nail polish strips like this, but I am going to try because these are adorable!

~Beauty Box 4 Custom Temporary Tattoo ($2): I’m not going to use this as a tattoo, but maybe on a notebook?  It’s pretty, but I think I am past the temporary tattoo stage.  I just don’t really go anywhere that I could wear a temporary tattoo.
Beauty Box 5 March 2016 Subscription Box ReviewAll totaled I came up with a value of $50.51 for the March 2016 Beauty Box 5.  I really thought this was the best Beauty Box 5 ever. The value was awesome and it included a bunch of high-end brands!

Hmm…I’ve received purlisse eye serum from BoxyCharm and Ipsy and have used it quite often and haven’t noticed a difference at all.

I’ve gotten Beauty Box 5 for a couple years now and usually find it to be OK, but I thought this was the worst box ever from them. But I hate perfume and temp tattoos and nail wraps and glitter eyeliner. But maybe I am looking for a reason to cancel!
