1. Mother’s Day is Sunday so I want to know what you are doing for your mom (or what your kids are doing for you)? B has National Guard this weekend so he won’t be around, but I know the little boys will take good care of me ;). They have been working on top secret projects at school that I cannot wait to see (I LOVE the crafty projects they come up with at school). I am not 100% sure what my mom is doing this weekend (mom are you going up-north?), but the boys and I may invite ourselves to hang out there for a while Sunday too!
2. Of all the subscription boxes in April, what was your favorite (either one you received or one you are sad to have missed)? Of all the boxes I received / reviewed in April, I think my favorite was the Birchbox Limited Edition: New Naturals box. It was an amazing value and just an all around fabulous box (it’s actually still available to purchase too). I think it may have been my favorite (or at least close to) box of the year so far!
I can’t wait to hear your answers!
My Mom wanted my Sister and I to be with here this weekend for a spa day, so we are getting massages and having brunch on Mother’s Day. Her ears aren’t pierced so I was able to get her a pair of cute vintage earrings on Sweet and Spark’s website.
There is no one box that was a favorite. I’m loving the beauty balm from PopSugar Must Have Box, the candle from the Mini Box and the 3 in1 Micellar Solution & milky rich salt scrub from my Birchbox.

I’ll be home all day Sunday. Come on over!!
Hi! I’m not sure where to post this but I remember a while ago that you mentioned LuLaRoe! I’ve been working really hard and now have a huge new inventory (over 800 items) and do weekly giveaways, parties and free shipping! And I’m local! So if you or anyone is interested in my group, join me on Facebook at LuLaRoe Lounge – Karina’s Addicts or http://www.facebook.com/groups/LuLaRoeLounge/
My grandpa wanted to have a picnic Saturday, so I got my mom and Nana Four Generation picture frames and hired a photographer to come do some family pictures after the picnic. I’m super excited, and it was supposed to be a surprise, but my grandpa told my Dad so he didn’t show up looking like he’s homeless, and he told my mom. So now there’s a whole bunch of drama, but whatever. At least my grandmother doesn’t know 😛
(I DID tell them enough to make sure they didn’t show up in their hole-y yoga pants, though :P)
My mom passed but we will be celebrating with my MIL. She’s currently in a skilled nursing facility (as if this weekend) and will be moving to board and care once she’s on her feet. We are taking her favorite foods to eat with her at the facility but if anyone has other good ideas of love to hear them! It’s hard to know what to do when she’s not ok to leave.
