The June 2016 GlobeIn Artisan Box theme was “Picnic” and included the following:

~Peace Picnic Blanket (Cambodia) ($30): The bottom of this blanket is made out of upcycled bags while the top is a soft cozy fabric.  I don’t want to say it’s waterproof because I haven’t tested it, but I wouldn’t hestitate to put this on wet grass either.  I believe it comes in a few colors (at least a blue plaid and a red plaid) and I am keeping mine in my car.

~Neem Wood Travel Cutting Board (India) ($15): I expected this to be larger, but after reading the information card I understand why it’s not.  It’s meant to be packed in your picnic bag / basket and used as a cheese board, to make sandwiches on or to place fruit on.  It was hand-carved in India and I suspect that no two are alike as a result.

~Color Travel Cup (India): This was the only surprise item in the box (the other three had already been revealed) and I think it might be my favorite.  The colors are vibrant and the pattern is beautiful. Gorgeous!

~Bottle Basket (Mexico) ($12): In June all Artisan Box subscribers had the option to receive a Bottle Basket instead of the regular GlobeIn Signature Basket.  I love that they are now allowing subscribers the option to swap out the signature basket for another item.  The bottle basket would be great to carry a wine bottle for your picnic.

I loved this month’s GlobeIn!  I’m not sure of the price of the cup, but even without it, this box has a value of $57 which is already over the price of the box.

What do you think of GlobeIn? If you are interested in subscribing you can head over to their site and get signed up. Don’t forget that new customers can use the coupon code “WELCOME” to save $10 off their first month of a 3-month subscription to GlobeIn Artisan Box.

I almost signed up when I saw that bottle basket! (But I’m really trying to cut back and save money?) And that travel cup is gorgeous! Does it have a lid or something?
