Divine You Crafts allows subscribers to create meaningful keepsakes and spiritual tools while gaining insights and techniques. Each Monthly Conscious Crafting Kit centers around an inspirational word, and features a seasonal craft or tool to make, a crystal or stone, and our gift to you, a collectible Divine You card. They focus on insights gained in the process of creating, rather than on the finished product, so makers of all skill levels are encouraged to subscribe.
Divine You Crafts ships via USPS on a monthly basis. If you signed up before the 1st of the month, you will receive this month’s kit (shipped around the 5th). If you sign up after the 1st of the month, your first kit will ship the 5th of the following month. For example: If you join on September 10th you will be charged on that day and then, on October 15th for your next box, and so on, until you cancel your subscription.
Everything was beautifully packaged and fun to unbox.
The July 2016 Divine You Crafts project was “Art Journal”:
~The Materials: The kit included all of the materials necessary to create your own Art Journal. I wasn’t familiar with the concept of an art journal, but the instruction booklet explained it as a visual diary containing words along with sketches and other forms of art including mixed media collages. It’s NOT a scrapbook although it may contain materials used in scrapbooks – like photographs. I have been working on mine a little at a time and have been using it to write down quotes I love and little inspirational messages.
~Free Gift With New Subscriptions & Stone of the Month: All new subscriptions will include an Om pendant necklace. Plus, each month includes a “Stone of the Month”. The July stone of the month was Carnelian. Carnelians are stones of action that may help to give one the courage and confidence to move forward on a new path in life. Not only does the information card tell you a bit about the stone, it also gives you examples and ideas of how to use it! I think this awesome for beginners (like me). So helpful.
I couldn’t do a cost breakdown on this box, but I think Divine You Crafts is more than “just” a craft box. It’s deeper than that and I really enjoyed that it’s not just a start to finish project. It’s something to work on, develop and use over time. I also that the instructions were clear and very helpful.
