Each Geek Fuel box contains a mini magazine with articles relating to that month’s box, Instagram images, etc.

Geek Fuel Review - October 2016

The October 2016 Geek Fuel included the following items:

~Horror Series Trick ‘r Treat Sam Action Figure ($7.22): Sam is pretty creepy looking!  He’s 3 and 3/4-inches tall and has a little lollipop accessory.  The blister pack on mine came loose in shipping, but I found the little lollipop in the bottom of the box after I unpacked everything. Note: Subscribers will receive one of five different slashers.

~Dragon Egg Toothbrush Holder & Storage Kit: This is a Geek Fuel exclusive. It’s a ceramic dragon’s egg from Game of Thrones.  It can be used as either a toothbrush holder or you can swap out the top (it has two) and use it for storage.  It would look pretty sweet on your desk to hold pens / pencils too!

~Firefly Delivery Service T-Shirt: This is another Geek Fuel exclusive!  This probably doesn’t come as a surprise, but I have never seen the Firefly series.  I will be passing this along to a friend who loves it, though.

~Doc of the Dead Gummy Brains: These are awesome.  My boys (they are 4 and 8) thought eating brains was the best thing ever.  They look gross, but they swore they were amazing,

~Luckslinger: A Fistful of Fortune ($5.49): Luckslinger is a downloadable game for PC or Mac.  The download is free, and they also included some cool wooden dice.

From Luckslinger:
In Luckslinger, luck is measurable, collectible and usable whenever you please.

On one-half it’s inspired by the unrealistically fast gunslingers, the dark, gritty humor and the greed driven anti-heroes of the spaghetti western classics.

On the other half, it’s inspired by vinyl digging, graffiti spraying, rhyming and the slow drums and jazzy samples of hip hop culture and sound.

I couldn’t do a cost breakdown on this box due to all of the Geek Fuel exclusives.  I liked the variety in here and do think that the value is there.
