1. What is the last movie you watched? The last movie we watched here was the new Ghostbusters (I liked it, but didn’t love it) and I *think* the last movie I saw in the theater was Bad Moms? We have a great new movie theater super close to our house so we tend to go to the movies more now than we used to. By more I mean we go more than once every 2-3 years like we used to ;).
2. Do you prefer Birchbox or ipsy? I used to prefer Birchbox because of their point system, but now it’s more of a toss up for me. Some months I like Birchbox better and some months I like ipsy better! I do think ipsy has a better monthly value on a consistent basis, but that doesn’t mean I always like the products more. However, I would love to see ipsy do a limited edition box. They’ve never done one in the past and I bet they’d pack a ton of value in it!

1. Last movie was Storks at the theater. It was cute but I got a little bored in the middle.
2. I subbed to Birchbox for a year and got frustrated with the selection. I wasn’t on the ACE list so never got to choose my samples or the curated box. I overlapped with Ipsy for a short time before cancelling BB. I liked Ipsy better but October was my last month as I decided I was getting too many samples. I may pick it up again in the future.
Oh I just remembered I watched the Amanda Knox documentary on Netflix last Friday too. I thought it was good. That whole story is so engrossing and terrifying.
The last movie I watched was an advance screening of Trolls. Super adorable movie! Right before that I saw The Girl on The Train which I thought was great.
I cancelled both of those subs, so I guess I preferred Sephora Play, lol. I’ve been considering skipping even that and going back to Boxycharm, I like the consistency except when I receive too many brushes. I hate when there are too many variations in Ipsy and Birchbox, causes box envy for me.
For us is impossible a movie night, so we need to wait for the BR or go separately with friends, but usually we wait for the BR, over the weekend we saw Now you see me 2, we liked the first movie, and the second was not bad but not as good as the first one. I think the last time my husband and I went to see a movie was like 3 years ago when my parents were visiting, hahaha.
I’m at Ipsy girl. I like that it sends more makeup items where I think that Birchox sends more faca care products and I just don’t use those as much. I would love to see a limited box or a warehouse sale since the bags are packed not too far from me so I’d actually be able to go to something like that.
Last movie I saw in the theaters was Girl on a Train (liked it, I went with my book club girls as we all loved the book). Last movie we saw at home was some Hallmark movie that was recorded in June that we just got around to watching and I can’t even remember the name!
