This week I am saying so what if…

~I’m not ready to “Spring Forward” this weekend.
~I have googled “hives” and “how to get rid of hives” more times than I would like to admit in the past few weeks.
~I am wondering if April the Giraffe is ever going to have that baby.  I feel like someone miscalculated a due date?
~I don’t believe I have ever talked to Siri.
~The thought of not sleeping in the same room as my phone (as I hear is recommended) makes me very nervous.
~Waking up with a headache pretty makes me want to stay in bed.
~I thought I was SO good at PacMan.  Until I actually tried to play again.  It’s not as easy as I remember.
~I am still hoping we get one more BIG snowstorm before Spring comes.
~I miss MTV’s Spring Break coverage.  Please tell me someone else remembers it.
~I got sucked into the Teen Mom forums last night.  Wow.   So much happening with all those girls.

What are you saying so what to this week?

Spread the love

Oh I remember MTV’s spring break! And Eric Nies on The Grind. Kids these days have no idea what they are missing

      OMG the best!!!!!!!!

Random, are you doing the March Madness bracket thing again this year? Not that I ever win, but I have fun following along!

    1. Jennifer

I don’t know? I have THE WORST time trying to get a hold of people on there when they win!

      1. Britney

You can always pretend I win! <– That's totally a joke! I can only imagine how hard that is…

I agree with the April the giraffe thing! She doesn’t even look like she has any intention of having that baby.

How can it be “any day” for like weeks and weeks. I need to do some research on giraffe pregnancy. Because obviously 5 minutes of researching this on the internet will make me an expert. LOLOLOLOL.

You will be as expert as some of the zoo people, apparently. I just read the story where an older giraffe in Denver who was supposed to be on birth control had a surprise baby this past weekend while we were all obsessed with April.

          LOL!!!!!!!!!!! Sneaky giraffes.

I used to watch MTV spring break NONSTOP. I suppose the same stuff is on Youtube or Snapchat now!

They could put the shows on MTV from 15 years ago and I would still watch. Over and over. My favorites were the Spring Break Uncensored.

Ha! April is fed up, I just saw the clip where she kicked the vet!

Spring break coverage was the best! The concerts, the shows, the hosts! MTV is terrible now. I haven’t watched anything in years but the last time I remember watching it I shut it off quickly. What forums are you in? I miss lurking the IMDB boards, silly that they got rid of them!

I used to read the TWOP forums (Television Without Pity), but they closed those years ago. Now I read the Previously.tv ones.

Oh I miss TWOP so so much! I had found them way way back when they were Mighty Big TV. I always wanted to go to one of their finale parties in NY, like for the Amazing Race. Miss Alli that used to do some of the reviews is now at NPR, I still read some of her reviews there, her real name is Linda something. I will check out previously tv, always up for a way to spend hours online. LOL.

I loved watching MTV’s Spring Break! I miss The Grind and at one time there was a Spring Break exercise show. 🙂

YES!!!!!! I loved it all. Why did they ever do away with all that magic?

If you can find it check out the documentary “Spring Broke” …it’s about Daytona Beach and the impact MTV had on the area when they started going down for Spring Break… I think I’m older than you so I remember the shows with all Alan Hunter (one of the original veejays!) You know I love Teen Mom but I miss my 80’s MTV when it was ALL about the videos!
