POPSUGAR Must Have Box ships via FedEx Smart Post and takes about a week to arrive. They seem to ship in batches (no idea if there is any rhyme or reason to the order they use) so some people get their boxes delivered before other people have gotten shipping notices.

Fun Fact: POPSUGAR Must Have Box was the first box I have ever subscribed to way back in June 2012!  It was POPSUGAR Must Have “Bag” back then, and their first shipment was in July 2012 (you can see my review of that box here).

The April 2017 POPSUGAR Must Have Box box was inspired by *Reset * Healing * Natural * Clean *.

The April 2017 POPSUGAR Must Have Box included the following items:

~MakersKit Crystal Sand Art Terrarium Kit ($32): I was so excited when I saw this in the box!  It’s exactly the kind of “thing” I like in my office.  It’s like a plant, but easier.  The kit included everything you needed to make this at home, including different colored sand, moss, a crystal, etc.  It took just a few minutes to complete (that’s my kind of project) and didn’t make much of a mess at all.  I made mine inside the Popsugar box lined with tissue paper so clean up was a breeze.  I would have liked to have had a white sand in here rather than the second shade of brown (like the PS card showed), but I am still happy.

~Morning Culture Dipped Bamboo Cutting Board ($22): This was released as a spoiler for the box. It’s 12 x 5 1/2 inches and is made out of eco-friendly bamboo and dipped in food safe paint.  Mine must have had an issue in the dipping processing as it looks a little “drippy, ” and some spaces aren’t covered. This was a review box, so I am not going to request a replacement, but I am gong to reach out to POPSUGAR and let them know if the issue.  I am curious if others have this problem as well.  ETA: Morning Culture has reached out about the quality of cutting board I received and has offered to send me a replacement.  I am super impressed with their customer service as I did not contact them or POPSUGAR about this.  I will update when I receive the new one!

~Tonic Australia Lavender Sachets (set of 2) ($15): Ohh, love!  They have a lavender scent and are covered in a gorgeous floral print.  They can be used in a closet, in a drawer, under your pillow, etc.  I am thinking of using one under my pillow and the other in my car.

~The Cottage Greenhouse Carrot & Neroli Rich & Repair Body Wash ($22): This is made with carrot oil, but didn’t seem slippery like some shower oils do.  It’s certainly thinner than your average body wash though.  The scent isn’t strong (and it doesn’t smell like carrots) but is pleasant, and a nice change of pace than my regular body washes.  Also, this is Paraben Free, Gluten Free and Never Animal Tested

~Cocolab Cocofloss ($8): This floss is infused with wax, coconut oil, fruit oils, and aromas.  It’s fancier than any wax I have ever tried in the past that’s for sure.  The clear packaging is a great idea, and you’ll know exactly when your floss with run out with this.

~Nourish Snacks Holy Habanero ($1.99): B (my husband) tried these for me and said they were “like spicy corn nuts.” He was a fan.  They are habanero-seasoned, gluten-free, dairy-free, non-GMO and vegan.

~Special Extra: Pronamel Strong & Bright Enamel, Extra Fresh Toothpaste ($5.99): This is labeled as a “Special Extra” meaning it’s not included in the value of the box.  Sometimes these seem out of place (this one doesn’t with the floss being in here though), but I am always happy to get a freebie in a box.  Who doesn’t need toothpaste?

All totaled I came up with a value of $100.99 for the April 2017 POPSUGAR Must Have Box. I liked this box a lot!  The value wasn’t amazing, but I liked the individual items (I’m going to assume that my cutting board was a fluke unless I hear otherwise) and I am happy.

What do you think of the April 2017 POPSUGAR Must Have Box?  If you are interested in ordering (your subscription will begin with the MAY box), you can use coupon code “MUSTHAVE5” to save $5 off your first box.
