Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for women. With Stitch Fix, you provide your style, size (they also do maternity fixes), and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. You only pay for the items you love and decide to keep. There is a $20 styling fee which is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces. If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. If you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything! Stitch Fix is now offering exchanges for sizing as well. Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix. You have a few days to try everything on, and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid USPS return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.

My Stitch Fix shipped via FedEx and took just a few days to arrive this month.
If you can’t wait, you can go in your account after your box ships to see what you are getting that month. I always do!
I don’t do the best job of filling out my checkout form and reviewing the pieces I get, but I do have my Stitch Fix blog reviews linked in my profile which I think helps a lot.
My September 2017 Stitch Fix (Fix #49) included the following items:
~41Hawthorn Lawford Knit Top ($58): This shirt looked so cute and promising in the package. And then I tried it on. I thought the cut/fit / print were fine, but the necklace drove me crazy. I like the deep v-neck, but the leather (?) detail doesn’t stay put. I couldn’t get to lay flat and, if I kept this, I know I would spend the entire time I was wearing this trying to fix it. Verdict: Returned.
~LAJU Balla Cargo Vest ($68): This is totally, 100%, not me. I know some people love vests (and look great in them with jeans and boots, but I am not one of those people. Also, I didn’t like this necklace at all. It just felt awkward. Should I button all the way up? Leave one open? No idea. Neither looked right. Verdict: Returned.
~Emory Park Zora Knit Top ($32): Oh how badly I wanted to skip over this one and not post a picture of myself in it. But oh well. I knew this one was going to be trouble for me when I unfolded it and saw it getting narrower. That’s not a flattering style for me. This clung in all the wrong places – mainly to my stomach area. I’m not pregnant, but this shirt is doing a great job making it look like I am. LOLOLOLOL!! Verdict: Returned.
~LE LIS Soll Mixed Material Top ($54): Easily the cutest top in my Fix! The sweater material was soft and cozy while the printed front was stretchy and flattering. Still I thought it was a little too pricey, so I am sending it back. Verdict: Returned.
~MTLA Black Legging ($38): The final item in my Fix was a pair of black leggings. They have a thick yoga waistband, and the price point works for me. I am wearing these in all of my pictures above, so I didn’t take a separate picture for this one. Verdict: Kept.
This was far from being my favorite Fix, but I am keeping one item, so it’s not a total loss. Fingers crossed for an amazing October!
