InstaCandy is a monthly candy subscription box. Each monthly delivery includes 8+ full-size products + awesome extras of the tastiest candy from around the world in sweets, sours, and chocolates.
InstaCandy ships via USPS. All new orders placed before the end of the month are shipped on the week of the 15th of the following calendar month. So an order placed in October will ship by in the week of November 15th.
I had no idea what to expect from this box as there are no pictures of actual boxes on the InstaCandy website. The first look didn’t tell me much either.
My October InstaCandy included the following items:
~Road Crew Crunch Toasted Coconut Turn ($3.99): Dark chocolate, raisins, rice puffs, toasted coconut and pretzels all in one snack. I could have done without the raisins and coconut, but I still enjoyed them more than I thought I would. They are made using fair-trade certified ingredients, non-GMO, gluten-free and are made with no artificial colors or flavors.
~Haribo Sour Gold-Bears (~$2): What’s not to love here? Haribo Gummy Bears are the best, and the sour ones kick it up a notch!
~Original Candy Raisins (~$1): I think we were all surprised by how good these were! The texture was fruit snack-like and they were very flavorful. I would have these again in a second.
~Nutiva Organic Hazelnut Spread (~$2): This hazelnut spread us vegan and organic and has 40% less sugar than the leading brand. It’s just as tasty and we love it with apple slices and on bagels.
~Bon Bon Boom Intense Sour Bubble Gum Pops (~$1.41): My 5-year-old sampled these for me and found them a bad too sour. In all fairness though, he doesn’t love sour hard candy. I thought they were good (very flavorful and long-lasting), but I never got to the gum portion.
~Baron Chocolatier Premium Milk Chocolate with Colorful Lentils (~$5): Milk chocolate with candy lentils! I loved these bars, and so did the rest of my family!
All totaled I came up with a value of about $15.41 for the October 2017 InstaCandy box. That’s less than the full-price of the box, but more than the $4.99 I paid for the box. The description promises 8+ full-size items and this box certainly didn’t have that. The lollipops, gummy gears, spread and candy raisins are all single-serve / sample-size in my opinion. I liked the individual products well enough; I just wish the value was higher and the products were larger.
What do you think of InstaCandy? If you are interested in trying them, you can use this link to get your first box for just $4.99. Note: This will subscribe to a 3-month recurring subscription unless canceled. If you signed up today, you would need to cancel by November 30th to avoid being charged.
