POPSUGAR Must Have Box now ships via USPS Parcel Post (they previously shipped via FedEx Smart Post). From what I can tell, my box will still take about a week to arrive. They seem to ship in batches (no idea if there is any rhyme or reason to the order they use) so some people get their boxes delivered before other people have gotten shipping notices.
Fun Fact: POPSUGAR Must Have Box was the first box I have ever subscribed to way back in June 2012! It was POPSUGAR Must Have “Bag” back then, and their first shipment was in July 2012 (you can see my review of that box here).
The December 2017 POPSUGAR Must Have Box was inspired by *Cozy* Giving * Sparkling * Traditions* Warmth * Celebrate * and includes:
~Tilo Twilight Scarf ($98): I believe this is the “Cozy” item from the box, but I wouldn’t consider it a cozy scarf. The textured material is a tad rough (not scratchy, but also not soft) and it’s probably not going to keep you warm. That aside (I felt like I needed to mention it), it’s a fabulous scarf. It has just the right amount of sparkle and isn’t going to weigh you down. Great for the holidays and beyond.
~Chloe + Isabel Pavé Bar Long Pendant Necklace (Choice of Gold or Silver) ($42): Subscribers were able to select between silver or gold. I believe this was the first time POPSUGAR ever offered subscribers a choice on their item preference. I received the silver and don’t think you could go wrong with either one. It’s approx. 30″ in length plus a 2″ extender. You can wear it as a long chain or double it up for a layered look.
~Bauble Bar Sugar and Spice Coaster Set ($38): I love these! I love them even more than the (very similar) placemats that were sent in the NM box this year. These are acrylic, but lightweight and super fun. Like the information, card says, these would make a great hostess gift or keep them for yourself to enjoy!
~Lalicious Sugar Kiss Extraordinary Whipped Sugar Scrub ($35): Sugar Kiss is a blend of citrus, rose and vanilla. The scent is light and amazing! It contains Pure Sugar Cane crystals to gently slough away dry skin cells and reveals a youthful and even skin tone. It’s not rough/irritating, and I found it to be very hydrating. Tip from the website: If it seems too hard when you get it, run it hot water for a minute or two and store it in your shower where there is steam to soften it up.
~Wild Ophelia Sugar Cookie Milk Chocolate Bar ($3.50): This chocolate bar combines buttery toffee with sugar cookie crumbles, and sea salt are mixed into 41% cacao rich milk chocolate. It sounds incredible (and Vosges chocolate usually is), so I want to save mine for a special treat after the holidays.
~ASHKAHN Gift Tags ($12): Basic, but still super cute gift tags. You can use them for anyone on your shopping list – for the holidays or beyond. I did think it was a little strange they didn’t have hang tags on them. Not a big to add them myself to coordinate with the gift, but still.
~Special Extra: Pier 1 Imports Vanilla Bourbon Scented Candle ($14.95): This is labeled as a special extra on the information card, and I must say, this is the best special extra ever! It’s a gorgeous scent with vanilla and caramel sweetness accented with hints of apple and cherry.
All totaled the December 2017 POPSUGAR Must Have Box had a value of just about $243. I can’t remember when POPSUGAR had a value like this! AMAZING month!
