~Good Morning! This has been a catch-up week. Grocery shopping, errands, dinners on the grill, basically just doing everything we didn’t have time for last week. It was so gorgeous out yesterday and the boys were out playing with the neighborhood kids so late that I almost forgot it was a school night.

~I took advantage of the nice weather yesterday and finished up “How to Walk Away by Katherine Center” which was one of the May Book of the Month selections.  It was incredible.  It was depressing and uplifting at the same time and my emotions were all over the map reading it.  I highly recommend.  I checked out “The Cactus” from the library last week and just can not get into it.  I don’t know if I should give it more time or give up completely?

~Has anyone hit up the Nordstrom Half Yearly sale?  What’d you pick-up?   I was hoping the Madewell v-neck tees would be on sale, but no such luck.  Maybe for the Anniversary Sale??

~Do you have “Scan, Bag, Go” at your local grocery store? We just got it at our Kroger a few weeks ago and I tried it out for the first time yesterday. It’s interesting. I’m not sure it’s a timesaver (you still have to scan everything and then wait at the u-checkout to pay), but it was fun. I actually think my kids would love it, but I also think we may end up buying half the store because it is fun to scan things.

That’s it from here! Have a great long weekend!

Spread the love
