Play! by Sephora Review - January 2019

Play! by Sephora has switched to recycled bags (they previous sent cloth bags) and I love them. I usually ended up tossing the drawstring cloth ones, but I will save these resealable ones.

Play! by Sephora Review - January 2019
The January 2019 Play! by Sephora theme is “Your Beauty Future” and included the following items:

~Sunday Riley Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment (5mL) ($17.50): Love this!  It is a clarifying, line smoothing lactic acid treatment. It provides a solution for dullness and uneven texture, dark spots and fine lines and wrinkles.  I have gotten a few samples of this here and there, but just have not been able to bring myself to buy the full size (it is $105 for 1oz).  I do feel like it makes my skin glow though so next time Sephora has a Friends & Family sale I am going to have to order it.

Play! by Sephora Review - January 2019

~Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (5mL) ($6): Another LOVE!  This is a thick whipped cream, but it does not feel heavy on your skin.  It does, however, fight signs of aging and soothe dry skin. I was so excited to get this that I put it on while taking these pictures.

Play! by Sephora Review - January 2019

~Belif Aqua Bomb Sleeping Mask (5mL) ($2.27): This is a jelly-pudding sleeping mask that replenishes and revives dull, dry skin with explosive hydration for a dewy, radiant glow.  It is supposed to be super cold here this week, so I am going to save this to get my skin some extra hydration.

Play! by Sephora Review - January 2019

~Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Glace (~$12): Meh. I am not much of a matte lip fan and this color (it is a dusty-mauve shade) just isnt me.  I will pass this on to my sister-in-law because I think it is a shade she will love.

Play! by Sephora Review - January 2019

~BeautyBlender blendercleanser solid pro (0.558oz solid) ($4.73): My beautyblender does need to be cleaned, so the timing on this is perfect.  It is a charcoal-infused soap that removes product, dirt and oil from beautyblenders and any other tools that need cleaning.

Play! by Sephora Review - January 2019

~Marajo Nourishing Cleansing Creme & Deep Treatment Butter ($1): The bonus item this month is a shampoo and conditioner (it is typically a small perfume sample). I will save this for an overnight trip or to take up-north.  We have gotten a ton of perfume samples from Play lately, so I was excited to see this!

Play! by Sephora Review - January 2019

All totaled my January 2019 Play! by Sephora had a value of $43.50.  I loved this box.  Can I get Sunday Riley and Drunk Elephant in every box?  PLEASE????

What did you think of the January 2019 Play! by Sephora? One thing to keep in mind is that Play! sends out a variety of boxes each month, so you may end up receiving a different box than your best friend who is also a subscriber. If you are interested in subscribing (and you probably should be because their boxes are great), you can check them out here.

Spread the love
