It’s So What Wednesday over at Life After I Dew and I’m linking up! This week I am saying SO WHAT if….
- I am super annoyed about the lack of Summer Clearance items left at Target. Come on people stop buying it so quickly!
- I asked on FB if yams and sweet potatoes were the same thing. FYI: They are different.
- I need a haircut in the worst way, but am too lazy to go.
- I am so excited for the mail this week. I am expecting my Citrus Lane box and Birchbox goodies!
- I get super annoyed when people make up abbreviations for words on FB. Nothing like making everyone confused.
- I cannot remember the last time I was out past 12am. Seriously? When was this? It has to have been years ago.
- I am in constant search of an amazing blender. Is it really necessary to spend $500 to get one that blends ice / frozen fruit nicely??
- I’m annoyed that B’s flight home yesterday got delayed because of the President.
- I find all these bombs threats made lately to be super annoying. The bridge to Canada? Then the tunnel to Canada (or maybe the tunnel was first). And now to Comerica Park? Enough already!
- I make shopping lists. Then I leave them at home.
So what are you saying so what to this week???
We recently got a new blender and LOVE it. I don’t know the exact model but it is a Ninja and cost us $95 at Bed/Bath/Beyond. For a cheap-o like me, this seemed like a lot of money for a blender but it chops the hell out of fruit and ice. I’ve been drinking smoothies almost everyday since buying it – and no lumps!
OMG, I need to go look ASAP! Thank you!!!!
P.S. This is the one we have:

The lid is a little tricky but I think it’s made that way so you don’t chop your arm off. You can kinda tell from the pic that there are six blades that go up the rod thingy in the middle – so it blends everything completely instead of just the stuff at the bottom like other blenders do.
My Costco had both the ninja and the Vitamix this past weekend. I’ve heard good things about the ninja and it’s 1/4 the price of a vitamix. I have a vita though, and love it dearly. It was $374 at costco.
