I mentioned it the other day, but B and I are staying in for NYE. At least I am sure that I am. You never know with B ;). I can’t even tell you the last time we went out for New Year’s? Probably pre-L? We used to of course and I certainly used to pre-B, but not any more. When L (and WB) gets older, I am sure they will be all excited about staying up till midnight to ring in the New Year and I want to be with them! And then there will be a time they want nothing to do with B or I on NYE and we’ll go out then ;).
Also, I feel like going out on NYE is expensive! So expensive. Unless you go to a house party, it costs a fortune to go to a bar / hotel / restaurant on NYE. And if I go to an open bar party, you better bet I am going to get my money’s worth and that causes tons of trouble the next day when I have two kids running all over!
So tell me, are you going out on NYE? What are your plans? And if you are staying in, do you do anything special?
We usually don’t do anything special, but this year my brother-in-law is here from out of town, so we’re going to dinner downtown. And paying a babysitter, which happens about once every 3 years (if that!).
Im working on call hospice so hopefully i will be at home and no one will need me
