November bluum Box

My November bluum box finally arrived yesterday and I dug right in!  This month’s theme was “Bundle Up” and was described as “with winter fast approaching, stay warm and cozy this holiday season”. This month I understood how some of the items fit with the theme and didn’t understand others. It’s an improvement that at least some of the items fit though since they never really do;)!

First Look

The box was nice and full and looked pretty promising. Here’s what was inside:

~mOmma Teether($5.99): We actually have Fred the Penguin, so I was pleased we got Jack the Seal! WB really likes this and I was thrilled to get a spare. It’s probably the cutest teether we own, but I’m not sure WB cares about that. He loves anything that makes his teeth feel better and this does!

BabyBug Magazine
($3.77): I know this has been included in a few monthly subscription boxes in the past, but I have never received it. It’s actually very cute and more book like than magazine like. I like L’s going to enjoy this more than WB!

Numi Organic Teas
($0.78): I feel like I am trying to be converted into becoming a tea drinker. I am not going to drink tea no matter how many packets these boxes send me, but I will give them to B so they won’t go to waste.

Madhava Organic Agave Nectar
($1): I’m just meh about this. Actually worse than meh. I’m not interested in getting sugar alternatives in my baby subscription box. It’s probably not even worth $1, but I am not taking the time to calculate the real value.

Caldrea Sweet Pea Stain Remover
($1): I like this brand so I am interested in trying their stain remover. But I’ve gotten a few packets like this and they are just kinda messy. I would prefer a little bottle maybe?

Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Mud Mask
($2.99): bluum sent out an e-mail saying that due to shipping delays as a result of the hurricane, the mud masks did not arrive in time and that they would be included in our December box.

Including the mask (and according to my calculations), the box had a value of $15.53. Since I bought my subscription though a Plum District deal and am paying $6/month, I’m cool with this months box. Not wowed, not pissed.  Content.  I am glad I didn’t pay full price though, which is now $14.90/month.  I’m not 100% sure what warranted the increase, but I wouldn’t subscribe without another 1/2 off deal.  I do really like the teether and the magazine though, but the rest of the stuff is kinda blah. Swap out the agave nectar for a pouch food (which would be about the same price) and I bet I would be thrilled with the box!

Is the Plum District deal to get this box for $6/month still available?
