The Box

B’s (second) favorite subscription box, SpicySubscriptions (it’s an *adult* box) arrived last week and I had almost forgotten that I hadn’t yet reviewed it! I thought I would spare your innocent eyes the pictures / descriptions of the box in case you didn’t want to see it, so I created a “spoiler” for the post.  That way, if you’re not into this kind of thing or are say, my mom, you can just happily scroll past!

Can I first just say that this spoiler tag is the coolest WordPress plugin ever?  All right, now on to the review.

March SpicySubscriptions
March SpicySubscriptions

In case you don’t know and clicked the spoiler link out of pure curiousity, the SpicySubscriptions is a monthly *adult* subscription box which contains Romantic Gifts and an assortment of Intimate Toys, Massage Oils, Sexy Lingerie, Romantic Fragrances and much more!

SpicySubscriptions offers two options, the Premium Spice Box (1 flirty item, 1-2 full sized products and 4-8 trial sized products) for $24.95 or the Deluxe Spice Box for $34.95 (1 deluxe item, 1-2 full sized products, 1 deluxe accessory and 4-8 trial sized products).  I was sent the Premium Spice box this month, but rumor has it I’ll be getting the Deluxe Spice Box next month and yeah, B’s excited.

The Package

The box comes inside a USPS flat rate envelope and unless you *knew* what was inside, you’d never *know*.  Know what I mean?  And I should mention that YOU all are why I got a SpicySubscriptions box again this month.  It appears you guys are pretty Spicy and have been ordering and clicking up a storm ;).

First Look

Can someone explain to me why pink tissue paper photographs so poorly?  This happens all the time with PopSugar as well, and I don’t get it.  Is it just me?

Information Card

I enjoy the SpicySubscriptions information cards because yeah, I don’t always know what everything is.  LOL.  This month I *kinda* knew, but it was good to have a key.  LOL.

Okay, now here’s what you’ve been waiting for.  This is what was inside:

~Pipedream Products – Vibrating Ring ($8.99): Before we discuss this let me direct you to this little gem I found online (while searching for a link to this), called the “Just-In Beaver” love doll.  It appears it was so popular it sold out.  Who exactly buys this?  For serious?  Anyways, back to the “neon”.  At first I thought it glowed in the dark (you know, like a neon sign) and B just looked at me like I had two heads.  What?  He’s like, umm, who would even know?  Ohhh, good point B.  Good point.

~Crazy Girl Diva Pheromone Dust ($10.95): I love this.  Does anyone remember the Urban Decay Sparkling Lickable Body Powder?  This is exactly what the “Diva Dust” reminds me of.  It’s not crazy strong or over the top, but gives you a perfect shimmer and smells amazing.

~Crazy Girl – Oral S*x Gel – Cotton Candy ($12.65): I had no idea that Amazon sold such products?  I mean they really do sell everything don’t they?  This smells pretty good and doesn’t taste bad either (I tested it in my hand) and that’s all you’ll get out of me.  Wait, I will also tell you that I like the packaging of these products.  They aren’t all freaky or anything you know?

~O My International – Gel ($1): I’ll admit it, the thought of this scares me.  What if it like burned or something?  I just imagine that “tingle” indoor tanning lotion I used to use back in the day and can’t imagine this.  There.  However, the reviewers on Amazon appear to enjoy it, so I’m just going to let them all be the experts on this.

~Sample Products ($5): The box also came with a few samples, including Masque Oral Strips, which B and I were both like huh?  After I GTS’ed I discovered that the Amazon reviewers enjoy these too.  How come when I am looking for a review on Amazon on a product all that’s there is like a one sentence “I liked it”?  But with this kind of stuff it’s more detail than I ever wanted??

All totaled (not including the samples), I came up with a value of $38.59 for the March SpicySubscriptions box.  I totally think this would make a perfect Bachelorette Party present (wedding season is coming!) or heck, even for an indoor date night if you know what I mean (and I think you do).

too funny about the tingle tanning lotion I so remember that from the pre baby, I have so much time and am not worried about my skin tanning days. I really didn’t understand some of the products ss I too went on amazon and yes there are very detailed reviews.

Two of the products in your box look exactly like products from the company my mon does home parties for undercover wear. The diva dust looks just like their product dazzle and they have a version of the cotton candy spray called ‘shopping spree’ and the agents love to say its named that cause you make sure you get the credit card before you use it so you can go on a shopping spree lol
