My April bluum box arrived nice and quickly this month and I am hoping this new trend means that their shipping woes are totally over.
bluum ships in the same sized box every month and it’s a way bigger box than the older bluum boxes. Â They ship via USPS and like with some of my other boxes this month, my tracking didn’t update until it was out for delivery.
The box seemed a tad light this month, but I was still excited to see what was inside. Â I think I mentioned it before, but I aged WB up a few months, so he gets the 15 month box instead of the 12 month-old box.
I mention it every time, but bluum doesn’t have a true information card. Â Instead, they have a card which describes that month’s theme (ours was “Cuddle Time”) and a little about your baby’s age and a general discussion about the items in the box. Â On the day your box is delivered, you get an e-mail with the box contents and a description of each item. Â Here’s what was in our Cuddle Time box:
~Sign and Sing Along: Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star ($4.49): Â I cannot wait to read / sing this to WB. Â He LOVES singing and following along to songs with hand movement. Â Patty cakes(*) is his favorite right now, but he’s game for most songs!
~Totlogic – Bubble Bath ($12.75): This will likely end up getting used by L more because WB doesn’t demand bubble baths like L does. Â However, unlike L when he was a baby, WB doesn’t mind bubbles. Â Maybe it’s because he sees L enjoying them?
~Angel Dear – Blankie ($13): WB does not have a cuddle buddy and instead just prefers the comfort of his thumb. Â But I suspect that one day he will need one and I am going to offer this to him. Â It’s adorable and so soft and snuggly!
~Babyganics-Apple Berry ($5.24): I knew this looked familiar and I went back and looked and yeah, I got this in my March bluum box too. Â I don’t mind having two because you can never have enough lip balm, but I would have preferred something I had never tried before.
~Baby Soy Usa – O Soy Sig. Socks (Grass)Â ($4): Do babies like to cuddle with socks on? Â Because yeah, WB doesn’t. Â No matter how cold his feet are, he will NOT keep them on. Â Â I will certainly use these, but with shoes!
~Happy Family – Happy Yogi ($4.21): WB loves these (they are actually quite yummy) so I was thrilled to see these in the box! Â There are some snacks that when WB sees them he goes CRAZY and this is one!
~Luna Bar – Chocolate Peanut Protein Bar ($2):Â I LOVE Luna bars so I was super excited to see this in the box! I can’t eat it just yet (soon though, soon), but I am ready for when I can!
All totaled I came up with a value of $45.69 for the April bluum “Cuddle Time” box. It’s not my favorite bluum box ever, but that’s how it goes, you love some and some are just okay and I get that!

I got this one a few months back. I would have to agree, not my favorite assortment of products. It seemed a little too young for a one year old. I got this one when my son was 16 months old. Its really young for that age! I already had the angel dear lovie from when he was a few months old. But, you’re right! Win some, lose some! I just keep the doubles as baby shower gifts 🙂
I learned it as patty cake(s) too, though I’ve totally forgotten the lyrics.
Ha! I hate wearing socks too (and shoes). I dunno, I just like my feet to be free.

got my first bluum box yesterday. Mine was the “Giggle monster” box, themed around laughing and teething. I don’t understand why I got TWO of the 7th Heaven mud masks. Not to mention the email says that it’s “for baby”, but I can’t imagine putting a mud masks on my 7mo… I also got: B Kids Teething links (look cool), Momma Penguin teether (fun), Baby Mum Apple (weird, cuz I’m not giving my 7mo mum mums yet. Am I supposed to be giving her these already??), a super cute book: Little Learners – Peek-A-Boo Friends, and for mom – Luna Bar – Chocolate Peanut Protein Bar (eating it today!).
On another note – my email and my online account show different items were sent. For instance, online it says I got the B Kids cups for the bath, doesn’t mention the baby mum, and doesn’t say that the mud masks are for baby. Weird… do you usually cross-reference yours and see a difference? Just curious…. Otherwise, it’s a great box! 🙂
I tried out Bluum this month and was completely disappointed. I also got this cuddle time box- the Luna bars are sold at our local grocery store for $1 and I didn’t get the book! I wonder why you got the book and I didn’t. After opening I immediately canceled.
BEWARE if you sign up for a trial! They will charge your credit credit card after the trial is up for the most expensive box. I was just charged $24.95! I had purchased a groupon type deal for a one-month box and had to pay $1 shipping on the Bluum site and then they went and charged my credit card for the next month even though I had NOT signed up. Just be careful! It isn’t worth the hassle – I’ve been emailing and calling with no luck.
