HauteLegs is a legwear subscription service based in San Francisco. Each month, subscribers receive 3 fabulous pairs of the most sought after looks for only $36 (you can also opt to get 2 pairs for $28/month). I’m not going to lie, I’m not much of a tights girl, but I do love me some leggings. I always wanted to be one of those cool girls that could rock fun tights and look fabulous, but I never really knew what to do or where go. But now…
HauteLegs arrived while I was on vacation and it was one of the first packages I opened. I could not resist the fun pink envelope.
I didn’t know what to expect from HauteLegs, but I was pleased by what I saw. Everything was neatly packaged, until I tore into it anyway ;).
HauteLegs doesn’t have an true information card, rather it’s more like a welcome card. The card does note that this month, they are donating 10% of new membership dollars to the Global Youth Peace Summit, which is a non-profit that brings together refugee youth from over 25 countries and gives them the leadership tools to go back to their communities and be leaders for peace. I don’t know if they do this every month or if this is a one time thing, but either way, I think it’s great!
I have discovered that taking pictures of tights is no joke. Seriously, it’s much more difficult than I was anticipating! I decided to make collages for each of the pairs I got so you can get an idea of what to expect. The HauteLegs website has better pictures than I could ever dream of taking, but I want you to see what I see!
I don’t know about you, but I am ROUGH on my tights (when I do wear them). So I was kinda rough with these. I stuck my hand in them (with my rings on) to take pictures, I tried to get them caught on a nail, ran my rings over them, etc. And I am pleased to report that I did not snag them at all! I ended for the “Mix It Up” package, but there are others and after you take their style quiz, you’ll see what the best fit is for you.

I don’t wear tights frequently. In Winter though I usually will pick tights if I’m also wearing a dress. Of course I’m always interested in trying something out. Looking at your photos, I like the tights with texture/design.
I wear tights all the time in the winter, to bad Houston only has a two week winter….
I wear tight occasionally…weather permitting. Hot, humid Miami is…hot and humid! 😛
I never really thought about this before I saw your posted question but interestingly enough I wear tights A LOT! Especially in winter (Canadian winters suck sometimes) and if they are thick then they double as a fancy version of “long-johns” lol I guess you could say I am frequent tights used 🙂

I don’t really wear tights that often except when I’m getting dressed up. Probably because I can’t justify spending the money to buy them but those tights look amazing!

I wear tights about as often as I wear a dressy skirt or dress and its super cold….umm once a year? One of my friends tried to convince me skirts and tights was more comfy than pants, which I guess would be true if I wore skinny pants from this decade (uhh I am still wearing boot cut and trouser cuts from 2005). I would like to be someone who wears tights and skirts because it looks classy.
I wear tights “occasionally” it’s cold and rainy in WA, and I had to wear them under my skirt today or I’d have frozen!
I don’t wear tights unless I’m dressing up in the winter. In the summer I go natural legs with dresses but in the winter I wear tights. I’m not sure I even own a pair of regular hose anymore. These are really cute and sound like good quality. I’d love to try them.

In LA I do not have the option of wearing tights very often since it is soo hot, but I love to wear them near Christmas and while we are on vacation. I do sometimes wear leggings with longer tunics, that is more Louisiana weather approved 😉
Tights are an essential in wintertime! I love pairing them with a cute mini dress.

I love tights buuut I never wear them lol. I would love to wear cool colors with dresses but I can’t seem to figure it out either. I do like to pair them with a dress during winter but I am more of a leggings fan too.

I htink i might be too OLD for tights at almost 50 and actually have no idea how to wear them correctly.. I know there are things that the younger generation wear, that i can wear, just in a different fashion… ( btw- i might be almost 50, but i look 30). I am not a great dresser.. and it always wierds my daughter out when i try to dress differently- I always get you don’t look like my mom- but yeah i would definitely give tights a try, if someone had any ideas on how to wear them…
