Sunday Sentiments

Disclosure: If you make a purchase through the links posted below, I may receive a small compensation. Read the full disclosure.

Once again, I’m totally stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight.

~B is still out of town (or else of course I would have let him sleep in and made him breakfast in bed – LOL), but the boys and I wanted to do something fun for him so we made a little “DAD” picture. Taking the pictures was similar to trying to take the monthly onesie stickers of WB in his crib, but we made it through. And I think B loved it ;).

~I am going to do a giveaway in my newsletter tonight so make sure you open it and enter!  I have NOT decided what I am going to give away yet or I would totally tell you.

~A few people asked yesterday what a muffin tin meal was. Basically they are meals served in a muffin tin. L likes the 12-slot mini muffin tin, but the 6-slot regular muffin tin is easier to do. Here’s an example of L’s meal from last night and here’sa post I did on muffin tin meals a while back.

The Meal

~If you still want in on the Advocare 24-Day Challenge, but haven’t ordered yet, there is still time to get it before we start next Monday.  I am actually thinking that B and I may start on June 23rd instead of the 24th so it’s easier to follow if you need meal ideas or need to know what to take, when to take it, etc.  I’m going to have a post bookmarked that I’ll update daily with all that information and how B and I are feeling, etc. If you have no idea what I am talking about, but might be interested click here and read about it.

~Is anyone else going to watch Miss USA tonight?  I LOVE pageants and of course I am routing for Miss Michigan.  Not that I have any clue who she is, but I got to route for my home state!

~I’m thinking about making just one more trip to Bath & Body Works for the semi-annual  sale (or doing an online haul), but I gotta know, is there anything else I NEED?  I haven’t gotten a fresh BBW lotion scent in ages.  Any new favorites I have been missing out on?

Spread the love

Oh I love the DAD idea. I did a similar one for the boys Thank you for their birthday party and C was just not into it at all. I was lucky to get him sitting next to the letter.

Hmm not watching Miss America tonight but I do have the Daytime Emmy’s on. I told you’ve I’ve gone full into GH again. Oh help me now. LOL

I still want to do a muffin tin meal. I need to keep an eye out for them to be onsale and grab up a few for the boys.

I totally just did another haul online, because I couldn’t resist. My husband loves the oak scented lotion, so I ordered a few body washes. I picked up some shampoo and conditioner (never tried it before! 3.20 cents why not!) and of course more candles!! 🙂 do it!! You know you want to!!!

Love the idea of a muffin tin meal. My little guy is uber picky but maybe I can sneak in a new food in one of the tins if it is surrounded by other fav snacks.

I can’t figure out how to reply to your newsletter, because I’m technologically challenged most days! You MUST get the chocolate covered frozen banana slices from Trader Joes! It’s a small box, but it’s only $2! Warning: they will probably be eaten in one sitting, especially if you’re sharing. Enjoy!

muffin tin meals are such a cute idea! i will have to try that for the kids i babysit.

if you’re into tropical scents, the ‘exotic coconut’ signature line that they brought back in stores for the SAS is really nice. it’s a creamy straight up coconut smell, and i love it!

the ‘venice dolce berry’ from the italian collection is also really nice, and that whole collection is on sale right now too. 🙂
