I’m linking up with Ashley and Neely today for another Sunday Social.
1. What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid?
Hmm, I’m not sure about this one? I always loved dress up as like a punk rocker (such an 80’s costume) so maybe that? I wish I could find a picture, but I have no idea where they are! And this is so silly, but we always liked dressing up as a baby too. Like in middle school, that was always cool because you could carry a bottle with a drink (not like that kind of drink in it) in it and we thought that was hot stuff.
2. If you could go back to your childhood and dress up as something, what would it be?
I want to be a troll doll. I think I want to make WB dress up as one next year. How adorable would he be? But where does one get a wig like that for a toddler? I need to work on that. I do have an entire year though.
3. What was your favorite Halloween costume as an adult?
I did a poll on this the other day, but I just don’t dress up. I am not fun like that. If you are dressing up (or dressed up) this year, what are you being??
4. What is your favorite Halloween candy?
This is too hard of a question. Totally not fair. I think I am going to go with mini reese’s peanut butter cups and maybe flavored Tootsie Rolls? Those are always good. And licorice. Only red though. I love when people handle that out. Something about little packs of Halloween pretzels makes me happy too.
5. What is your favorite Halloween memory?
Hmm, I am not sure I have one? I always liked trick-or-treating with my friends as a kid and I LOVE taking the boys out now! So I guess just trick-or-treating in general? Coming home and checking out all the loot you collected is always fun too!
6. What is your favorite scary movie?
Hmm, I don’t love scared movies, but I do remember enjoying the Scream movies. I don’t think those really qualify as a true scary movie though. I am really just wanting to watch Charlie Brown’s Halloween and Hocus Pocus this year.
I love the Scream movies. I never saw the 4th one but it is on my tivo waiting for me. LOL maybe I’ll watch it this week. I’m trying to remember what my favorite costume was. I have no idea what I dressed up as when I actually went trick or treating but I know if highschool we always dressed up as hookers. LOL so surprised my mom let me out in some of my outfits. 😉 hmm now that I say that maybe she just didn’t know. Not sure. Oh boy what are we going to have to deal with when our boys are that age? I’m not going to think about that (for now).
BAHAHAHA. Our punk rocker costumes were rather hooker like now that I think about it. I suspect we were like in middle school wearing them?
Hey Jennifer! I love the troll idea – I had a bunch when I was younger.. I’m sure WB will look adorable in it, your children always look so adorable in all your photos! 🙂
Aww, thank you!! And I think WB would be an adorable troll.
I LOVE the troll doll idea
Wouldn’t that be so cute??
Perhaps an oompa-loopma costume wig could double as a troll costume wig? Would love to see WB as a troll!
That’s an idea!!!!!
I feel like that troll doll costume is just the kid’s hair with a boatload of hairspray or whatever to keep it up, and then that halloween hair dye. Maybe you’d have better luck finding a hat that you could modify rather than a toddler wig?
Oh it’s totally that kids own hair. WB just doesn’t have enough. What kind of hat are you thinking?
OMG the pic of the little girl as a troll is the cutest thing I have seen this halloween 🙂 I’m loving it!
Isn’t that adorable??? SO creative!
Haha!
That troll kid is hilarious! Even at 7 and 9 mine like to run around naked so much they’d probably be all about that! Lmao!
Ha!!! I need to get a wig and have WB work on keeping it on all year!
