Ugh. I know, I know. I said I was going to wait to hit up the Target Halloween Clearance until it hit 70% off (which I am guessing will happen tomorrow in my area because some areas are already reporting they are at 70% / 30% off), but I couldn’t resist. I had to go there today for hangers (which I forgot to buy) and it was all downhill from there. I am hoping I can find some of this stuff to buy / return when it hits 70% so I don’t feel so badly! But still 50% off is a deal so even if I can’t find it at 70% (or better yet 90% off, I’m okay with that). Oh, and candy, food, cupcakes mixes, etc. are still 30% off. Those always get marked down on a different schedule.

Here’s what I scored:

Target 50% off Halloween Haul
Hand Towels

~Halloween Hand Towels: (064000049 / 064000050 / 064000052 / 064000227): $1.99/each (reg. $3.99 each). Found in the Halloween clearance section in a cart pilled with stuff it looks like the store associates cleaned out from other spots in the store (end caps, etc.).

Target 50% off Halloween Haul
Snacks

~Market Pantry Halloween Fruit Snacks: (071040016) $4.89 (reg. $6.99)
~Sun Maid Raisins:  (261070016) $2.87. I actually don’t think these were on clearance now that I look at the receipt.  L loves them though.
~Quaker Granola Bars: (071040044) $3.49 (reg. $4.99).  I found in the clearance area, but they could easily get mixed in the regular aisles.
~Kraft Mac N Cheese: (212140200) $0.90.  Another one that wasn’t on clearance.

Target 50% off Halloween Haul
Boys PJS

~Just One Year Pajama Set: (217026172) $7.49 (reg. $14.99).  Located in the regular clothing area all mixed in with the other pajama sets. My store had boys and girls ones (they come in 18 months to 5T I believe) and I am guessing these will be fairly easy to locate.

Target 50% off Halloween Haul
Halloween Hot Wheels Cars / Books

~Halloween Hot Wheels: (087070136) $2.49 (reg. $4.99).  Found in the regular aisle on a peg with all the other Hot Wheels.  My store had multiple sets.  Could be another one that’s easy to find. because it could be by-passed.
~Disney Board Books: (059034265) $1.49 (reg. $2.99). Holiday books typically don’t get marked down anymore (and I scanned a few today to be sure), but for some reason these were.  Found on an end cap in the book area with other Halloween books (which again were not marked down).

Target 50% off Halloween Haul
Star Wars Legos

~Star Wars Legos: (204001051) $1.99 (reg. $3.99).  Found in the Halloween area, but I also saw them on pegs up by registers.  There is also a bagged Witches Hat set on clearance.  These will be another one to keep an out out for since they do not look Halloween AT ALL and tons of people will pass them up not thinking they are on clearance.

Target 50% off Halloween Haul
String Confetti

~String Confetti: (240111163) $1.50 (reg. $3.00): L’s pick.  How could I say no??

Did you hit up the Target yet for the Halloween clearance?  What’d you pick up?  If you want to e-mail pictures of your hauls, I’d LOVE to see them (and post them here if you let me)!  And if you want to learn a little bit more about the Target Halloween (or any holiday clearance) in general, click here for an old post I did on it.

You can not control yourself can you? 😉 I am totally kidding! My husband and I are heading out to dinner tonight for our anniversary and you bet I am stopping there!

I have no self-control. And to make matters worse, my mom and I are going again tomorrow. Ahhh!!!

grr so lucky. I went last night to one of mine and we walked the whole store and I’m pretty sure they shipped out the stuff. I’m hoping to check another one tonight or tomorrow 🙂 You did great with your haul so far.

You need to come here for clearance time. It’s crazy. Some last was complaining there wasn’t enough stuff left. I don’t know what she was looking for because they seriously had everything.

I went at about 10 am yesterday and almost everything was already cleared out. We have some super clearance shoppers in my town and it was only at 30%, but mostly everything was gone. I was hoping to score one of those fun foam hats Target had this year, but the only ones left were the Chinese black hats. I did score the mini 4-packs of Halloween Jones soda drinks though in Blood Orange, Candy Corn, Red Licorice, and Caramel Apple. I may head back tomorrow and dig around the store to see if I missed anything though.

You must have some super shoppers there! They are no fun. They should wait till things are marked down more to go crazy!

I’m so jealous! Our Target goes 15%, 30%, 50%, 70%. And drags it out as long as they can….sigh. When we went last weekend, they still had the college stuff on clearance at 70%. How long ago did school start.. Seriously jealous. 🙂

That’s how their “normal” clearance works. Never gets above 70% off either. Holiday (Halloween, Christmas, Valentines, etc) works different. They need to move it out more quickly since they typically need that space for other things. Your Halloween should be either 50% or 70% off right now. Candy and food is probably 30%! They should have signed up in the area, but if not SCAN IT! Holiday clearance will NEVER have Target’s normal red clearance tags on it. It’s not marked at all except for shelf tags which aren’t always accurate.

I’m sorry. I think I explained that poorly. I understand how it normally works and how it is for holidays. But our Target here, doesn’t do anything normal. They drag out the clearance on the holiday stuff as much as they can. For example, it’ll usually be 15% the entire first week and a half. Whereas Wal-Mart will be 50% the day after the holiday. Sigh.

Oh goodness that sounds like a no fun at all Target! Are all t he ones in your area like that?

have been meaning to ask but kept forgetting, what other stuff from Target do you like for yourself and recommend checking out every month for those of us without children? :p

    1. Jennifer

Just in general? I like everything at Target! I just wander around and look at all the household stuff (candle, accessories for the house), stationary type stuff, clothes, just everything!

We went to our Target last night and it was pretty wiped out. I did get an Avengers Hulk Hat for my youngest for half off but other than candy, there was pretty much nothing left.

      Boo!

Went to 2 Targets today and didn’t leave with any clearance merchandise. I was hoping to find those Star Wars Lego sets you bought but I scanned several and they were all still regular price. I did dig through the costumes but still opted to wait. The second Target had a better selection but nothing that was too amazing. We are doing the candy swap at Noodles & Co tomorrow which is near another Target so maybe better luck there.

Let me know what you find today! I am going out soon too!

I always go the day after and get what I really wanted at 50% off. This year I was all over the storage bins (I couldn’t care less what pattern they have when they live in my attic) and the decorate pumpkin kits that come complete with mini pumpkin and all the details. My LO will be 18 months next year and even though hers will be a mess of finger paint I think she will have fun. Next year I have every plan of going to babies R us the day after. I stopped by there on the first and they already had all their costumes at 75% off. I am going to pick up all the disney princess costumes to create a dress up trunk. Wanted to get them this year but I figured that was awhile out still. Next year though!

    1. Jennifer

Oh I know what you mean about those storage bins! My basement is full of Christmas ones!
