I’m Loving…..

Walhburgers. Jenny over at Love My Randomness has been telling me I need to watch this show and when I was flipping around last night I stumbled into it. And I love it. They are all so open and I love the interactions between them all. Clearly Alma is in charge and everyone knows it!

My Boys!
My Boys!

The Little Guys. After school on Monday, L was like I think we should go home and search for gold coins because that’s what the leprechaun’s leave. Umm, it is? Nobody told me I was supposed to be checking with the leprechaun’s to make sure they were coming. So I suggested instead that we get some Shamrock Shakes. Sold.  Everyone was happy.

Spartans Will!
Spartans Will!

Michigan State and March Madness. It begins tomorrow and I am so excited.  The Spartans are on at 4:40pm, which is sort of the worst possible time (for me anyway), but we’ll all be watching.  The Spartans are HOT and while I hate that everyone is picking them in their brackets to win it all, I too will be picking them!  #gogreen

Costco.  There are so many treasures at that place it’s unreal.  My mom took me there on Monday (why get my own membership if she has one?) and my cart just keep getting filled with treasures.  Including this Frédéric Fekkai stuff.  Do I really need to treat my $8 dye job with $30 shampoo?  I certainly thought I did at Costco that day.  And that 5 pack of Dove deodorant?  I should be set for a while.

Washi Organizer. I need this.  I would love something like this in one of the cubbies in my desk. My brother says I should be ashamed I even want / need one, but I am trying to talk him into making one for me.  I know B will never do it (plus he’d claim to need 8 million new tools to build it), but my brother just might.

Chopped Salad
Chopped Salad

Chopped Salads.  I may not like eating clean, but I do quite like chopped salads.  I haven’t had one in ages and I broke out the chopper yesterday and it was amazing.  WB actually stole it away from me it was that good.  My cousin was saying she doesn’t like chopped salads because “it’s like someone has chewed your food for you”, but I don’t agree.

That’s it from here.  What are you loving this week?

We’re trying to eat better and have more salads, and just started chopping them. We’re in love! There’s just something about a chopped salad that makes it so much better! And good luck with getting your brother to make that washi holder – looks awesome!

    1. Jennifer

Chopped salads make them 100x more amazing!

Ok where did you get your salad chopper from…I.Need.It

OMG – my husband always ‘needs’ new tools to build me something. It’s always cheaper to just buy what I want. It would cost me a fortune to buy all the stuff he needs to make something that is 39.99! Lol

    1. Jennifer

      So so so true!

Hahah same over here! My husband has a total gear addiction. I’m secretly glad, though, because it gives me grounds to justify my shopping addiction. But that washi organizer looks perfect!!

My husband acts like hanging a picture requires new tools. Please. Give me a thumbtack and I’ll have that thing up in two minutes.

Not related to this post – but you got an EC golden ticket? I’m so jealous! I have an order coming Saturday and I’m hoping one’s in there.

    1. Jennifer

Yes!!! I was so excited! Fingers crossed you get one too!

I LOVE Walhburgers!! Its so funny and I love them I wish all 8 kids were on the show!!

I’ve never seen a salad chopper like that!!!!!!!! I’m ordering one NOW!

    1. Jennifer

      You need a chopper!

And I know! That would be better!!

  6. Stephanie

The washi tape organizer is just a spool display. You can get one at any Joann Fabric’s. That way no one has to make it for you and you can get it right now!

    1. Jennifer

Oh, I didn’t know they actually sold them!

  7. Shari Kramer

I picked Wisconsin to win it all they way, hopefully that will make you feel better 🙂

    1. Jennifer

That does make me feel better!

  8. Jenn

Even the President picked Michigan State. I much prefer we fly in under the radar and win. All this attention makes me nervous.

    1. Jennifer

      Same!!!!!!

  9. Ashley

Remember when you posted that amazing app type thing that helped clear your email? What was the name of that? I’m almost 1500 emails deep so I think I need it. lol

    1. Jennifer

      It was called unroll.me!

So what exactly is a chopped salad? I don’t think this is a thing in Idaho. Do you just make a salad and then cut it up? Seems odd, but I definitely want in on these chopped salads.

    1. Jennifer

It’s just a salad that’s chopped up into littler pieces. You can taste the flavor in everything so much better. Seriously, try one!

  11. Jenny

Is’t Wahlburgers awesome? It does make Mark look like a jerk sometimes but that is ok since I’m a Donnie girl anyway. Alma is hysterical she is so the woman and she had to be with those boys. LOL

    1. Jennifer

OMG so good! She’s so funny with those boys!

    1. Jennifer

      Ha!!

Totally feel ya on the pressure to keep up with the other kids dang leprechauns! Picking up my kindy girl (half day) Monday, she could not stop going on and on about what so-and-so’s leprechaun did. And, “what happened to ours?” And, hey, ” why did he not make our house messy like everyone else?” Clearly, the girl needed to look a little closer, our messy-leprechaun visits daily. AT ANY RATE, I ran to the store and bought green dye (you know for the stupid pee in the toilet), and a $9 bag of “gold coins” (aka rolos). And all was right in the world again. Ugh. I’m OVER the over the top “holidays”.

    1. Jennifer

Yeah I just wasn’t aware the leprechaun did stuff too! He didn’t come to our house this year!

I absolutely love that you discovered washi tape not that long ago and are now so into it! I would love to see more of what exactly you’ve decided to do with it, I’m interested in it and even have some because it’s virtually irresistible, but have absolutely no idea what to do with it. haha

    1. Jennifer

I need to find some more ideas for mine! I now have so much but I can’t help myself. It’s just so pretty.

  14. Rebecca

I love Walburgers. Donnie was my favorite New Kid growing up. Can I just say I’m very happy that I can listen to New Kids without feeling lame. It’s like cool to listen to them.

    1. Jennifer

      My favorite was Joey!!!

  15. Kelley Quigley

I’m another who has never seen a chopper like that! Is it basically a pizza cutter? Or different? And so you just roll it in the salad bowl to chop it? I’ve never had a chopped salad at all that I can remember, at least not in my adult life.

    1. Jennifer

It’s like a double pizza cutter. It’s got two wheels. You roll it and / or chop it. Think of it like a rolling knife. It’s sharp!
