~Happy Thursday! This week is flying by! Between L’s birthday, B getting home early from school and everything else, it’s just been a fun week around here. And tomorrow is L’s field trip to the farm which I think we are both super excited about.
~I am still expecting a TON of subscription boxes in the next few days including Birchbox, Citrus Lane, ipsy, Lip Factory, Love With Food, Orange Glad and Spark Box Toys. And there are always some surprises as well, so it should be a fun few days.
~I posted on Instagram about the cake (I bought the Duff Tie Dye Cake Mix from Target) I was making for L’s birthday and promised to report back on how it came out. Much to my surprise, it worked awesome. However, I totally didn’t need to buy this special cake mix. I have no idea what I was expecting, but it’s white cake mix and food coloring (and then I added some of my own as well). You separate it into six little bowls and then add the food coloring. And them you pour the colored batter into the pans one color at a time, right on top of each other. But it was good. And tasted good too! L helped me decorate it, which was the best part of the cake making process.
~Please tell me that someone else watched last week’s 16 & Pregnant with Summer and DJ? She’s right, her momma was a mess! But they did seem sweet and didn’t fight non-stop like all the other couples do, so I am routing for them to make it. Ohhh, and did you hear that Catelynn and Tyler (from Teen Mom) are having another baby! And in keeping with the reality show trend here, Dina is going to be back on Real Housewives of New Jersey this season! Eeek! It starts on July 13th and I am so so so excited! I will kind of miss Caroline and Jacqueline, but I will watch whatever that new show Caroline has is.
~If you are waiting on a prize or something else that requires mailing, it will be going out in the next few days. I swear! I like to limit my trips to the Post Office (well gas station, but whatever) to once a week and have been waiting for a few giveaways to end before I went! Ha, Gap Dream! Totally used it, and Heavenly and Om. Pretty sure there was a period when all our friends just gifted it back and forth to each other…why that was fun, I have no idea. Have you played Guess the 90s? I downloaded it on my iPad the other day and it was cracking me up.

I still have gap dream, bought it in store in 2012. my favorite is Grass by far though – I was living in Europe back then and got a small size from a friend from North Carolina when she visited in 1995. I had no idea what smell it was because it was in a small silver spray bottle, I found it in 2011 or 2012 and am in love with it again, this time I got 3.4oz off ebay :))
I used to be obsessed with that GAP stuff. I may have to go get some on ebay. Why did they stop selling them?
I’m excited for Catelynn & Tyler! I still remember watching that episode of 16 and pregnant when they gave baby Carly up for adoption, I bawled my eyes out! && OMG MAC LIP GLASS!! I remember my sister buying it and always bragging about how cool it was because the clear one made her lips “soo shiny”and I would totally take it and use it when she wasn’t home lol!
I cried too in that episode!
And that lip glass. I loved it.
it sucks they did!!! although I think they have some new lines now with bottles more appealing to today’s younger public and not us “old 30+ folks” from back then in the day? yeah, whatever :))

I am sort of shocked that she is pregnant, when they did that special on Mtv and were on Couples Therapy, I thought they were a little rocky. I think they definitely have some issues that still need to be worked out. But don’t we all (; just not aired out on TV. lol.
I think they said they were going to get married before this baby comes. Not that it will solve any problems they may have, but they said they got whatever was up figured out.
Woah Woah Woah … RHONJ has a new cast?! I’ll miss C and J … and kind of wish it was Teresa that wasn’t going to be on the show anymore. But then again, she brings the drama to the table, so of course they are going to keep her.
She brings so much drama. I think it’s why I can’t stop watching!
That rainbow cake is making me reconsider my decision to skip dessert tonight… I apparently never grew up, because rainbow+sprinkles makes me so excited!!

I’m really disappointed that Caroline and Jac won’t be on RHONJ anymore. Who are the new girls? And what about Kathy? Richie was so funny!
