~Good morning! B’s back at work today after a few days off, so it’s just the little boys and I for the next few days. We don’t have any solid plans, but we’ll find something fun to do.
~So I got a chance to watch the first two Episodes of Real World Skeletons over the weekend and this season looks like it’s going to be a great one. I cannot wait till these skeletons start coming in the house. Things are going to get messy!
~I am not expecting too many subscription boxes this week, but I should be getting NewBeauty TestTube, Hazel Lane, Good Habit Box and one or two more. It’s going to be a nice week to play catch-up!
~Have you taken down your Holiday decorations yet? Â I Â know I should start, but I am going to try and put it off until next weekend. Â We did get a bunch of toys / clothes donated over the weekend so that was good. Â I am going to give it a month or two and then give the house another sweep!
~Did I ever post my Reddit Secret Santa gift? Â I received a bunch of fun nail polish, hot chocolate, coffee, room spray, etc. Â Fun! Â It was so fun to unwrap a present that was totally 100% a surprise. Â I absolutely love that and will be doing this one again next year! Â I even signed up to be a Reddit Elf and get someone who got stiffed by their original elf a gift!

Our decorations will be up through January, lol. We are the laziest about taking them down; however, we won’t be like our neighbors and continue lighting the outside lights well into March!
We always have a party for NYE – over the last few years it has become much more sedate and intimate (we are one of the only couples without kids so most people can’t hang all night) but I prefer it that way, honestly.
That does sound like a better party!! Then you actually get to talk to everyone!
I think I had my outdoor decorations down in like March last year. Hopefully I can get that done a little more quickly this year!
Leaving them up is fine; lighting them well past the winter is a little nuts!

My husband is off until Friday. He’s been busy doing all the little things around the house that he doesn’t normally have time to do. It’s been great! We usually keep the decorations up until Jan 6. I want them down earlier this year while he is still home because he couldn’t find all my decorations this year in the basement. I want everything organized! Your Reddit gift looks fun. It’s nice Reddit has a back up plan for those that did not receive gifts.
I cut back on subs. It was fun while I was recovering from an illness, but now I need to focus on my business again. I kept the ones that I enjoyed a lot or were the most useful to me. I unpaused my Splendies sub and will receive a box this week. I like their changes. Maybe my Jan Wantables accessories/intimates if it shipped already. It will be my last Wantable boxes until after Easter. Maybe Loved & Blessed.will show up.
This week is all about cleaning, organizing, and enjoying family time. We don’t usually have NYE plans. We do plan to go out to breakfast on New Years Day and enjoy the first sunrise of the new year.
That is nice to have him home. I really want to get the outdoor windows cleaned, but it’s like 10 degrees outside and I don’t think that’s going to work so well. I should have done that last weekend.
Yesterday I told everyone in my family that every time they go downstairs they have to take a Christmas decoration. I figure by the end of the week all the decorations will be down there and all I will have to do is put them away. LOL
Genius. Total genius.
Our decorations are still up. I normally let them stay through the 1st and then start to take them down. M is home all week so we may start early this year but not sure. I do know I want them all down before we heat out for our cruise.

Cruise starts the 13th so maybe a day or so early. Guess we need to decide that soon. lol
Yay! Your Secret Santa looks fun! I was a little disappointed in mine (it was a couple dollar store candles) but will give it another try next year. I enjoyed sending mine out!

We leave lights and decorations up through epiphany (which is January 6th). Lights are no longer lit after that but we usually don’t start taking down until that following Saturday as there is so much to take down and put away (lets just say it may take a week to get everything down and boxed and stored).
I don’t know when B plans to take down our lights and other outside stuff. I just pretend I can’t see it.

There’s probably some terrible award for this, but I still have some Halloween decorations up hahaha! And I put them up at the beginning of September to boot. What can I say, I have a hard time letting go of my favorite holiday! They’re going down with the Christmas tree this weekend though!

I was sick this week so my NYE ended in a coughing fit and early bedtime. This morning I felt better so I packed all of Christmas up and put it all away. I am still sort of shocked that I managed to get it all done. 🙂
