Today I’m Smiling Because…
~I am getting closer to figuring out why some people aren’t seeing the current posts on my here.
~My boys are just fantastic kids. Sure they can be wild and crazy (after all, they are little boys), but at the end of the day, they are great little people.
~L’s winter break is just around the corner!
~B and I have a little day date planned today. Â My parents volunteered to take the boys so they didn’t have to come to IKEA with us, so B and I are hitting up IKEA alone and are planning to have lunch in the D (the D =Â Detroit)!
~I went to TJ Maxx for the first time in ages and found some great deals including some adorable Kate Spade things. Â I was in the market for a new wallet and this one is perfect.
~I finally got all of my packages shipped and out the door. Â Prizes from giveaways here, care packages for two of my cousins and a trade all shipped out! Â Yay!
~My Diet Pepsi consumption is still at very low levels. Â Some days it’s zero. Â Some days it’s 1. Â Not bad!
~The Super Bowl is tomorrow! Â Bring on all those fun commercials and great performances!

Yeah on the pop! I gave up pop and lost about 10 lbs now I only have ginger ale around for low sugar reactions and upset tummies because I can’t drink diet Canada Dry.

I’m smiling because $20 got me a full tank of gas earlier this week.. especially since now a lot of the stations have increased their gas costs by $0.20+/gallon, likely to gouge people here for the Super Bowl.
And the weather has been amazing, I hope it rains some more but it doesn’t look like it will.
Can’t wait for the Super Bowl! I live in Vancouver so a lot of us support the Seahawks. Looking forward to seeing Katy Perry too
