My (well, B’s) POPSUGAR Must Have “Holiday for Him” Box is here! I have been waiting for this all day and about attacked the mailman when she appeared tonight! Forgive the picture quality. I couldn’t wait for better lighting – I needed to get into this right away.
If you aren’t familiar with them, POPSUGAR Must Have Box is an exciting box full of fun, must-have picks across fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more, which is delivered to your door on a monthly basis. Boxes include full-size products and premium items including tried-and-true classics, celebrity favorites, and brands consumers have yet to discover worth over $100!
They also offer special edition boxes on a seasonal basis including Special Edition Holiday boxes for Him and Her. This review is on the 2015 Holiday for Him Special Edition Must Have Box which promised to include handpicked gifts for any man who appreciates great style.
The POPSUGAR Holiday for Him Special Edition Must Have Box shipped via FedEx Smart Post out of California and took about a week to arrive.
All items in the Holiday for Him box arrived individually wrapped in tissue paper. As usual I had peeked at the spoilers so I knew what all was coming in the box. But having everything wrapped still makes it special to open.
The POPSUGAR Holiday for Him Special Edition Must Have Box included the following items:
~Esperos Baldwin Porter Brief ($99.99): For me, this makes the box. It’s a sleek messenger style briefcase. It’s got a zipper top and a snap closure (the belt closure is just for looks). Inside is a padded laptop sleeve and along with two roomy compartments. The outer canvas material is water and stain resistant. B doesn’t have a nice carry-on for traveling so this is totally perfect. He’s got a ton of traveling coming up and will use this like crazy. I don’t think I could have picked a more perfect gift for him than this myself!
~Men in Cities Double Sided Cash & Credit Money Clip ($40): Okay, based on the pictures of this I had looked at, I thought this was two separate money clips and was thinking, well, that’s silly? Who needs two separate clips? But one clip with two sides makes much more sense! B uses a slim wallet right now, but I can see him switching over to this when it starts to get too worn.
~Woolrich Urban Throw Oversized Plaid Blanket (POPSUGAR Exclusive) ($85): Love this! As you know I kind of redid our living room and have throws all over the place. This will be an amazing addition. I wouldn’t call it super super cozy (although I do think it will soften up once I wash it), but I just love it. And actually B does too. Even though it’s 60 degrees out right now (I kid you not, it’s 60 degrees in Michigan, at night, in Mid-December), he’s curled up with it on the couch.
~Southern Culture Original Candied Bacon Rub ($6.99): This candied bacon rub contains brown sugar and spices and is gluten-free. I don’t believe B has ever made candied bacon himself before, but I suspect it will be happening soon.
~Acme Party Box Company Moscow Mule Mug ($20): We have some Moscow Mule Mugs already, but we’re happy with one more! This is a copper plated stainless steel and is actually a bit different from the mugs we have. This is smooth and the others are more beveled. You don’t have to drink Moscow Mules out of these, but of course you can ;).
~Pair of Thieves Socktail ($24): A socktail! I think this is a trip! It’s a cocktail shaker with two pairs of socks inside. The socks are stylish (and appear to be well made) and the side of the shaker has a Moscow Mule recipe on it! So neat.
~Daneson Single Malt No. 16 Toothpicks ($9): I don’t know if this is a guy thing or what, but B is always grabbing toothpicks at restaurants. I don’t know if I have ever thought, wow, I wish I had a toothpick, but he’s happy to see them. These are cooler than most because they are soaked with premium single malt and them kiln dried. Also, 1% of revenues are donated to forest conservation!
All totaled the POPSUGAR Holiday for Him Special Edition Must Have Box had a value of $284.98. That’s a steal for $100 and this is totally my favorite POPSUGAR for “Him” box to date. Hands down! It had such an amazing variety of items in it and everything was very high quality.
