1. Super random, but what is your (current) favorite Direct Sales company? Back in the day I was obsessed with Partylite (they are still around right?), but now it’s totally LuLaRoe. I think it’s their sales model. You can’t order the print you want – you have to FIND it. I like having to hunt it down!  Well, most of the time anyway :).

2. Are you going to be watching The World Series? I am not a fan of the Cubs any other time, but for this series, I’m all in! The excitement surrounding the Cubs is incredible and I would love to see them win it all for the fans.  And then next, I would like to see the Lions win the Super Bowl ;).

Can’t wait to hear your answers!

I love KEEP Collective! I joined as an independent designer a while ago and love it!

Dude. Chicago was insane when they won. Fireworks. Then fire trucks. Lol. People were going nuts! I can’t imagine what it would be like here if they win the World Series

      I can’t even imagine!!!!

I don’t know that I have a favorite, but I probably buy from Scentsy the most. I thought about selling LuLaRoe, until I read you have to buy a minimum of $4,500 worth of clothes to start… nope, pass.
I know we will watch, my husband is a baseball fanatic. His favorite teams are the Rangers and Cardinals, so I’m not sure who he wants to win?

I know right? And then you have to pack and ship everything yourself? I would be awful at that. Awful.

I’m with you on LuLaRoe! I went from being like “what is this, and why do I keep getting invited to online parties” to owning way more pieces than I really need within six months! My biggest mistake was the Halloween leggings. I couldn’t believe the frenzy when they were first released, so I ended up commenting on pairs that I never thought I’d get and I signed up for mystery pairs. By the end I wound up with fifteen pairs of women’s leggings and four pairs of kids leggings! I almost passed on more than half of them because I couldn’t justify buying that many pairs, but then I saw them being posted on ebay and buy/sell/trade pages and thought I’d just post whichever ones I didn’t want and would make my money back (I didn’t even want to make extra, just wanted my money back). Now here it is less than a week before Halloween and I haven’t been able to sell a single pair!

OMG!!! That is a lot of Halloween legging. I wish they’d release the stuff sooner. Like I want to start buying Christmas leggings in a few weeks so I can wear them a TON at the end of November / early December. But I don’t even think consultants can buy yet?? Hopefully soon????

I hosted a pop-up in May and I was told by the consultant that the Halloween leggings would be released at the end of August to the beginning of September. I agree with you that they should have released these a lot sooner. I hope they release the holiday ones sooner and that they aren’t as limited as the Halloween ones were. I’m all for a little frenzy and trying to hunt down a particular pair, but this was insane. If you know anyone searching for a pair of Halloween leggings send them my way, haha!

I wouldn’t be sad about finding those paisley skull ones. Then again everyone else wants them too!

  5. Kimm Jones Furlotte

I don’t have any current favorite direct sales companies but way back in the day it was …House of Lloyd Christmas Around the World…. I had soooo many of their parties and got some really great decorations that I still use today! (if you ever had a party then you will probably remember the Flo & Flossie bunny family..lol I have them all)

My husbands team was the Blue Jays… he’s lost interest now…lol

    1. Mrs. L

OMG I still have those bunnies! Several of each actually. I think they are one of the few things I have left from my Christmas Around the World obsession.

I know …it’s not Christmas in our house until the bunnies come out! lol 🙂

    2. Jennifer

Why don’t I know what House of Lloyd Christmas Around the World is?? I need to google.

Current favorite direct sales has to be POSH. I love all the hand creams and lip balms. Plus it helps that my cousin sells it so I get samples and get hooked. I’ve been a sucker for all those direct sales since I was a kid. Sold Pampered Chef way back when. Have a gazillian Princess House items. Man keep seeing the LuLaRoe and keep thinking I need to try…but refuse to work at it lol.

    1. Jennifer

I have never tried POSH! Crazy right? I am absolutely fascinated with LuLaRoe. The idea of just getting “whatever” colors / prints in the style you order and trying to sell them seems crazy hard. Smart for the company though…
