~Good morning! Not too much how this week is going to shake out! B may or may not have to work (government shutdown), but the boys have a full of school and I’ve got the normal stuff going on.

~I tried out the Aztec Secret – Indian Healing Clay Mask last night. I followed the directions and mixed equal parts mask with raw apple cider vinegar and left it on for 15 minutes. I don’t think I have ever had a face mask tighten my skin like that.  WOW.  My face was bright red when I took it off, but it settled down after about an hour. My skin felt incredibly soft and already seems brighter.  The mask is incredibly messy (I didn’t want to wash it down the sink) and I need a better system to take it off with, but I will use it again for sure.  I am unclear how often people use this, but I am going to try for every 2-3 days.

~I have 16 miles left in my January 100 Day Challenge and am hoping to be done Wednesday.  Or Thursday.  Our power went out yesterday during my run, so it got cut a little short ;(.  I thought they were going to turn the power off at noon (we got an alert from the power company because there was an issue in our area), but, much to my surprise, it went out about 25 minutes earlier than that. I was SO SURE I would be able to get my run finished and just about fell off the treadmill when it stopped.  LOL!!!  I probably won’t try that again when I know the power will be going out.

~I found the new Diet Coke flavors at Target yesterday!  I guess they aren’t officially being released until today, but the Coke man was stocking them while we were there. I tried the Zesty Blood Orange and it’s quite good.  Better than plain Diet Coke for sure.  I am also a big fan of the tall skinny cans.  Seems much fancier than drinking out of your standard soda can.

That’s it from here.  Have a great week!

Glad you liked the face mask! I was trying to do it once a week, but you’re right- it’s messy so I’m hardly consistent with it. It’s still my favorite discount one though
