Birchbox offers 4-6 (sometimes more) hand-picked beauty and lifestyle samples, delivered to your door each month. I have been subscribing to Birchbox for over five years now and would say they are one of the most (maybe the most) well-known subscription boxes out there. They are certainly one of the longest lasting boxes.
Birchbox ships via USPS and all boxes generally ship by the 10th of the month.
This review is on the regular February 2018 Birchbox. The February 2018 Curated Birchbox is also available in the shop.
My February 2018 Birchbox included the following items:
~Briogeo Rosarco Milk™ Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray (22ml) ($3): This spray has argan, rosehip and coconut oils to restore hair’s strength, softness, and shine. It left my hair soft and smoothed flyaways nicely!
~M·A·C Cosmetics Strobe Cream (6mL) ($3.96): Strobe cream brightened my skin and gave me an amazing glow. I mixed it with BB cream and found that combo worked well for me.
~Number 4™ L’eau de Mare Hydrating Shampoo (0.75oz) (and Conditioner Sample) (~$4): This shampoo and conditioner is free of parabens and sulfates and contains natural essential oils and extracts. I thought it left my hair smooth and shiny (and it smells great), but it is expensive, so I don’t think I’d pick up the full-size.
~TOCCA Stella Eau de Parfum (~$1): Love Tocca Stella! It has notes of Blood Orange and spicy Lily with notes of White Freesia and Sandalwood. It’s a little strong, but I thought it toned down nicely.
~Smashbox Cosmetics Always On Gel Eye Liner (~$9): This glided on smoothly and seemed to stay put. I don’t wear eyeliner often (ever) though, so it’s a miss for me personally – no matter how great it is.
My February 2018 Birchbox had a value of about $21. That’s over double the cost of the box, and while it was a solid box, it didn’t wow me.
Did you get Birchbox this month? What you’d get in your box and what’d you think?
