~First of all I have to send my thoughts to everyone on the East Coast. I’m not even sure what to say about it other than WOW. I have a few friends on Instagram and Facebook and saw pictures of some flooding in NYC, trees down in driveways, etc. Sure you see pictures on CNN and stuff, but you don’t know those people. Somehow knowing the people it’s happening to makes it 100x more scary! If you live in an area that was effected, tell me all about it!!

~I loved hearing everyone’s thoughts, opinions and experiences on my age difference post yesterday. All age differences have their good and bad points and are all perfect in their own way.  Heck if my kids were ten years apart, my blog yesterday would have been about how fabulous that is!  You work with what you have and well, it’ll all work itself out.

~If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I stayed up way too late making treat buckets (and crayons) for L’s school party tomorrow.  I didn’t want to totally wait till the last minute and do everything ;).  Sure I am tired, but I am so glad it’s all done.  Oh and in addition to the treat buckets, I wrapped 20+ juice boxes like mummies yesterday.  That takes long than you’d think.  Longer than I thought it would anyways.  There will be a post on all this later with all the details.

~So if you were waiting (for whatever reason) to sign up for December’s PopSugar Must Have box, you are too late.  Womp womp.  November’s sold out a while back, but now December’s is gone too.  If you want to sign up for January’s, you better get on it before it sells out as well.  I feel like maybe the “big” item in January is going to be fitness related.  I have no inside information, I just think that with new years resolutions, etc. it’s be a good fit.  I would guess it’s going to be like a yoga mat, but that would be pretty hard to fit in the box, so who knows?  But sign up here and find out.  And don’t be too sad if you missed out on December.  In addition to giving away a November box, maybe, just maybe, I will give away a December one too ;).

~We still have not taken the kids to get pumpkins.  I mean, we plan on carving them tonight, so I need to get on that.  There are just some tasks I cannot figure out how to manage with just me and the kids.  And since we never could find time to go on a weekend, today is the day.  And it’s just me.  Thanks to you guys, I am perfecting the art of doing your nails at home with kids.  Now I need you to tell me how you carry things, such as pumpkins, with little kids in tow.  And no cart.  Do you just get someone to carry it to your car for you?  Is it as simple as that?  Okay, now tell me this, how do you mail packages?  I am certain no one from the post office is going to run out to the car to assist me in carrying my packages in, so how do I get two kids and large boxes into the post office? I had B drop something off for me today because I am stumped.  Help!!!

Disclosure: Yep, that PopSugar link is an affiliate link. How do you think I can give stuff away unless you click and buy!

Ha! I just read your post and feel better that you do not have pumpkins yet. At this point, ya go to Kroger or whatever, use the cart. We got ours buy one get one free at Kroger this year! I didn’t know your mummy was a juice box…cute!

I always take the stroller in the PO. I try to go when N is at preschool so that I only have C but if I have a big pacakage I take the sit-n-stand stroller and place package in back and C in front if its a collection of smaller boxes I just take the maclauren and place all small boxes in a tote bag and haul them in. Stroller is a must since C is in his down down down phase and won’t let me just carry him places.

We never made it to the pumpkin patch either. N got one at his harvest party at preschool last week and I just put the Yoda pieces in it today. LOL Since we still haven’t really decorated outside I’m not thinking we will be carving any pumpkins this year.

Put everything in a stroller and have the WB in the carrier and L could carry something too. Dill likes to help out carrying stuff and Mason is loving helping out too. I always keep the baby carrier in the van for Nathaniel to put him in when I’m grocery shopping.
