1. So our neighbors opened their pool a few days ago and L watched the entire process and asked about 100 times when he could go in. He’s been thinking about that pool all winter and it had to be killing him not to be able to run over and jump in it. So on B’s day off this week, I let him go in. Sure it was a tad chilly, but he didn’t care. WB wanted to go in too, but I had to draw the line somewhere.

2. Oh man.  I gave the kids an early bath the other night and told L to get dressed while I got WB dressed.  L comes out of his room and is all “I match”!!  And you know what, he did match.  I couldn’t think of any way to explain to him why that combo didn’t “work” so I let him rock that plaid ;).

3. Seriously, is L not the best big brother?  This was all his idea and he was thrilled to pull WB in the wagon.  And of course, if L loves it, so does WB!

4. I’m pretty sure teenage girls honk and yell things out the window while B is running.  He never mentions it, but when I ask him about it, he kinda just laughs…

5. Nailed it!  My step goal is 10,000/day and I refuse to NOT meet my goal.  I should bump it up to 15,000 steps a day to REALLY get moving though!

6. Umm, gardening with his shirt off?  Remind you of anyone?  Say, umm, B????

 7. And L wonders why I don’t like it when he sleeps in our bed.  LOL.  He is such a crazy sleeper and seriously does this in our bed too.  Do kids grow out of this ever?  Or is he destined for a future of crazy sleeping?

8.  This picture was taken one night this week at about 2:30am.  WB was raring to go and I could barely keep my eyes open.  All he wanted to go crawl around on the floor and play and I realized I would never be able to go back to bed until this happened, so I just let him at it.  And after about 20 minutes, I put him back in his crib and he fell right back to sleep.  He must have been dreaming about toys and just HAD to get up and play!

9. I LOVE the answers kids come up with for these types of questions.  He is correct that I am “past 30”, but is a tad off on the weight.  BAHAHAHA.  Considering that he weighs like 43lbs and knows it, I’m unclear what he was thinking?  I do appreciate the super low ball answer though.  Santa will remember this.

Teenage girls may honk and shout compliments on B’s runs, but remember that you’re the one he comes home to! And how cute that L is following in B’s shirtless steps! Lucky girl – you’re surrounded by hunks! 🙂
